Quality and affordable
I have been wearing these to box in orettt much daily. Great orice, ultra lightweight, excellent ankle support. A big improvement over my last more expensive pair.

Great beginner/intermediate option
A solid option for training and light competition. They’re lightweight and breathable, which helps keep your feet comfortable during longer sessions. The fit is secure and supportive, especially around the ankle, giving good stability for footwork and movement in the ring. The sole provides good grip on gym surfaces, allowing for quick pivots and controlled movement. Build quality is reliable, though the materials feel more performance focused than premium. The only drawback is that cushioning is fairly minimal, which may not suit everyone depending on preference. Apart from that they look great and as I said, they’ll get the job done for any light work. Great option for beginners or intermediate athletes looking for a dedicated boxing shoe

Lightweight Boxing Shoes With Excellent Support and Grip
These boxing shoes deliver exactly what you’d want in the ring—lightweight construction, solid ankle support, and great traction. The fit is spot-on, and they feel comfortable right out of the box with no real break-in needed. Materials and craftsmanship are high quality, and they hold up well under use. The sleek look is a nice bonus, but the real highlight is how agile and stable they feel during movement.

Nice for indoor athletics...
They're good for indoor use, for sure. The fit is a little tight for me, because I normally wear a size 12, so it takes me a second to get them on. The style is the cool, old school adidas stripes that you see in the picture. They are a bit thin, in my opinion, but they seem like they're made pretty well. That said, your foot and ankle get some support, but I'm sure there are other styles that provide more thickness in the ankle. I think they're a little bit expensive for what they are, but they're still nice.

No Quality Here
The fit and color is accurate. The shoe has a unique blend of styles. The only issue is with quality. Construction of the shoe is sloppy. The fabric is folded over the soles, and the soles aren’t trimmed with precision. I believe these would be useful for indoor workouts, and not much more. Overall, the value for money is no.

Comfortable, lightweight
These shoes fit exactly as expected. True to size and well made. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was how narrow the sole tread is. I was concerned that the shoes would be too narrow for my feet. However, they fit just fine. This is my first pair of boxing shoes, so I just didn't realize the sole would be different. I like the high ankle protection and how lightweight the shoes are. They are comfortable and flexible. I would buy these again and recommend them for as a quality product for the price. I hope to get a lot of use from them at the boxing gym.

Solid Lightweight Shoe, but Not as Durable as Expected
The adidas Box Hog 2 has a great feel right out of the box. They’re extremely lightweight, breathable, and comfortable for quick footwork, making them a good choice for training sessions or anyone who prefers a minimalist boxing shoe. The grip on the sole is decent, and the overall fit is snug without feeling restrictive. For movement and agility, they definitely deliver. Where they fall short is durability. The materials, while light and flexible, don’t feel as sturdy as other shoes in the same category. After some regular use, signs of wear start to show sooner than expected, especially around high‑stress areas. They’re fine for moderate training, but heavy or frequent use may push them past their limits faster than you’d like. Overall, the Box Hog 2 is a comfortable, functional shoe with good performance for the price, but it’s not the long‑lasting workhorse some buyers might expect. Great for beginners or casual training, but more serious athletes may want something built to withstand tougher sessions.

What
So I have no idea what's going on with this design. Are these for people who like low-tops but hate their ankles and don't want to show them when they wear pants? Why do they go so far up? For me these come up to mid-shin height, which is obviously by design; and what a design it is. So they look exactly as shown, there's nothing missing or strange in terms of "versus the promotional images," so I have nothing worth photographing for anyone. What I can talk about is the feel and quirks of this design. The material for the upper is a synthetic mesh that is about half an inch thick, so it's both breathable and plush, and overall just really comfortable to wear. The lacing process was about as annoying as it looks, but once completed did leave plenty of length to spare. The most annoying part is that the tongue goes all the way to the toe, and when trying to place my foot in the shoe, had a habit of moving/folding the tongue in a way where the only way to fix it was to take my whole leg/foot out and try again. Thankfully the material is sturdy enough that after wearing them for a while the tongue is pretty much "set," so this shouldn't be a problem again, but certainly made for a bad first impression. So overall comfort of the material is good, and wearing them for a day felt in no way restrictive, and left me with no foot fatigue whatsoever. These are weird looking to be sure, but there's really nothing to do complain about, besides the tongue being annoying to deal with. For me the 4/5 is due to price, but I also haven't bought a new pair of shoes from a name brand in years, so maybe this is just where the market is at right now. For me it's a 4/5, but I could easily see this being a 5/5 for some people, and would completely understand. A weird look, but quality made, and a soft recommendation from me.
