These SURF CUZ board shorts are really comfortable and dry fast, which makes them great for a day at the beach or pool. The fabric feels light but sturdy, and they fit well without being too tight. The drawstring keeps them in place, and they’re easy to move around in. Simple style, good quality, and exactly what I needed for summer.

The style, fit and price are great, but the material is not as good as name brands like Hurley or billabong, etc… but not bad, just not great for wearing for beach volleyball or surfing due to the stiff material. It’s like wearing a plastic bag on your ass.

Caveat before I review. I’m a middle-aged woman, a Floridian, love the beach and am in my pool an obscene amount of times during the summer. I wear these shorts and a bathing suit top because since I was a child, I’ve hated bikini bottoms. I have numerous tops in all different colors and mix and match with these shorts to my heart’s delight. I also never have to put on a wet bathing suit, iykyk. Why I choose these over all the others is complex because I’m super picky about my board shorts. 1. Fixed waist is a must and these shorts have a nice fixed waist. No elastic rolling up and deforming the waistline. The fly is a set of three Velcro squares that work well enough. My only issue with the waist is the laces they use tend to come untied, just from normal movement. So you have to double knot them to keep them from untying unexpectedly. 2. The length. I’m short at 5’6”, most luxury brand board shorts are comically long on me. These hit just right. About 2 - 2 1/2” above my knee. 3. No compression shorts or mesh lining. I get the need, I understand why a man would need that sort of support, but for me I prefer no lining. It’s just more comfortable. Take note, they are see through when wet so you DO need something on under them. Black underwear works fine. 4. The back pocket is alright but not very useful. You can’t put your keys in it. I personally don’t use pockets on my swim suit so that wasn’t something I took as a bad thing. 5. Material isn’t very thick. It dries like every other pair I’ve ever owned. I find it extremely comfortable. Lightweight. Great summer shorts for the beach or pool. I own 6 of the styles, my latest purchase being the mint green with flamingoes, which goes perfectly with my coral pink top and my teal green top. Love. With my teal w/ coral pink flowers shorts I already have, that’s four different bathing suit variations. The colors are bright and match with basically any solid color top you want to get. Since RonJon’s is right down the road I have tried on every pair of board shorts from every elite luxury surf brand. These are just as good, if not better than any of those brands and cost half the price.

Ended up returning these because the fabric wore out in the bottom after one wear. They were nice looking and fit well. My husband did wish they had a pocket on the side though. They are quite thin but not see through.

cheap but they are great and beautiful and the quality is 110% I was always buying from the branded clothes like quicksilver volcon etc etc.. Those are beautiful and same quality from branded clothes! And they are very comfortable, just buy one and see how good they are!
