Filter works well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Replace and Worth Every Penny *by S***A on May 8, 2025* Just replaced the PreMax filter for the first time. It was pretty easy after watching the video. It fits well, works well. After the reset, it showed 9,152 hours of life. We run the unit 24/7 at speed 2 or 3, so that’s about 381 days. That timing was about right, the filter warning came on over a year after our purchase. Our old filter didn’t look as dirty as the ones others showed here, so maybe we replaced it a little early? Didn’t want to take a chance, so we still replaced it. These filters are a bit pricey, but for perspective, we replace our AC filter (MERV 8) every two months, so those actually cost more than this one. It’s still cheaper to replace filters regularly than to fix any motor. Overall, since this filter lasts a year, it comes out to about $6.25 per month, which feels pretty reasonable for clean air all year round. The only problem with ordering is the subscription max option is 6 months.
