Airtight and great build quality
Great item, I used it to make a DIY pressure tester, works great, airtight, and the construction is good as well. I've had different types of Schrader valves and ball valves, and I've had some where there were some cracks in the brass when they were casting it, and over time, it leaked. This one doesn't seem like it would suffer from the same fate!

Used as adapter for Dewalt and AstroAl chuck- perfect
Used this Milton 1/4” NPT tank valve and an Astro Al closed air chuck on a Dewalt DCC020I 20v air compressor (with LA-CO yellow has lime tape) and love it. The screw on/off connector of the Dewalt is awesome and will last longer. But for the airbags on the back of my truck screwing it off would drop the PSI a few and I was getting tired of that. I used this adapter to fit the AstroAl chuck to those Dewalt threads I’m happy with that. With the chuck not on a valve stem, if I turn the compressor on it’ll build to the set PSI fast and stop. Holds are tight, no leaks with the gas line tape used and this adapter. So after filling my tires and airbags I clip it right off. Perfect. Only down side is I then press the chuck stem against the screw of my rock tamer mud flaps to release the air from the Dewalt air compressor Line (otherwise the line still has pressure and is stiff), and this adapter has such good tolerances no air leaks). But it keeps everything right at the level I set it to be. All parts are perfect fits and hold great. A buddy and I put Firestone ride right airbags on his truck a few days ago, and he loved my Dewalt air compressor (he has tons of dewalt 20v stuff already and got me turned to Dewalt). So when he gets his I’ll be giving him the second air chuck and the second Milton 1/4” NPT tank valve.

Good Product but get the Tool too.
This is a good product and works as it should. As other reviews mentioned, the valve core was loose and leaked. Luckily I also purchased a core removal tool so I was able to quickly tighten it. If i had not purchased the tool then it would have cost a few extra days waiting for that to arrive so I nix one star. It seems odd to me that you need to buy a tool to fix a new product that you are purchasing. Perhaps one more step in the quality assurance dept is needed before these go out to consumers.

This was the missing link... Exactly what I needed!
This small adapter solved a first-world problem that I spent hours online trying to solve. I bought a 12-volt compressor for our van, to be able to quickly inflate bike tires (and car tires if needed). The compressor was perfect except that the hose only had a schrader valve built into the end of it, rather than the usual 1/4" NPT fittings. Since I needed it for presta, and I did not want to have to screw one of those schrader/presta adapters onto my bike tire values every time I wanted to inflate a tire, I needed a way to attach a presta chuck connected to a 1/4" compressor hose. I had just about given up and was about to return the compressor when I came across this wonderful schrader-to-1/4NPT adapter. It works perfectly for what I need it to, and I'm able to use the 12v compressor with this adapter (plus the JACO Presta air chuck and some quick-connectors), to easily inflate tires with presta valves.

one way gas/air valve
These look well made, the real thing. The one that I installed on the top of my pressure tank generally works quite well, though it once didn't seal. I only had to put a little more air in to get it to seat. It is a ball type seal, like a quality BB that plugs the opening to stop the leak. I may be sensitive to dust or dirt unlike a rubber seal.

Add air (low pressure) to a tank to find leaks
Motorcycle tank related. I bought these to use one to be threaded into a plate the goes on the fuel valve (petcock) hole when the valve is removed. The fuel fill hole is plugged with a 1-7/8” rubber stopper I bought from Amazon. By adding low air pressure you can check for leaks.

Very disappointed as the site clearly led me to believe I was purchasing a box of 10. When it arrived it was quantity 1. There was even a picture of the box of 10 in the ad. Misleading! As far as the valve it was fine
