Fine product but needs better…
Love the way it looks now that it’s done and painted to my liking. It’s a fun build however it do a have a few flaws & lots of positives. Cons: Instructions are brief and not too detailed. There are times when you have to really think through a step to figure it out. The pictures are not the best either, can be confusing. Take your time! The details on the crew compartments are amazing! You see every details of the interior but take your time! The two fuselage parts will need to come together and if done hastily it would be offset. The pros: great detail, price, and the finished product is very nice!

So far a real challenge
This is the hardest model I've done. I like the challenge though. At this point I'm painting the tri color fuselage Masking off to the right sections. Directions could stand to be better, like where the Bombay doors should go. But over all this should be the most impressive model I've done to date.

Terrible instructions...
There is a lot of detail in this model...But I would NOT recommend this one for the newer modelers...A LOT of trimming and puttying...I actually like that part of model building, overcoming obstacles...The main obstacle with this model is the absolutely WORST instructions I have EVER seen...Trying to decipher and match parts was a real daunting task...But the finished product is fine....

Careful and Patient
I have been building model kits since I was 15 years old. I am well experienced with the procedure, but I have usually received good to great written instructions that were well though out by the company that provided the model. The instructions cannot be used by someone who doesn't possess skill and extreme patience. Many parts do not fit without many cuts and tedious fitting. This is a 48th scale and should not be as difficult as the smaller 72nd scale I do often. If you purchase this Academy model good luck.

Read the reviews before you buy
The absolute worst model kit I’ve ever bought, nothing fit, and the instructions must’ve been written up by a six-year-old. I’ll think long and hard before buying another academy kit.

Accurate Miniatures の再販+の内容です。
Italeri でのTBF-1CのOEM発売からFAA用の丸窓が追加されています。以来アカデミーからの発売でも英海軍仕様が作りやすくなっています。ただし、Tarpon I&II の場合は外から見える室内に手を入れる必要があり、Avenger III の場合は塗装やマーキングにリサーチが必要です。要するに窓の絞り出しが不要になったとも言えますが。

Ist der "alte" Accurate Miniatures Bausatz - wohl immer noch der Beste.
Hier handelt es sich um eine Auflage aus den Formen von "Accurate Miniatures". Academy hat hier eine prima Basis eingekauft, diese Avenger ist immer noch eine der, wenn nicht die Beste im Maßstab 1/48. Im Gegensatz zur HobbyBoss TBM ist die Detaillierung teils feiner und genauer (teils erhabene Niete, wie am Original) , dafür hat die HobbyBoss die Klappen extra und die Möglichkeit OOB mit gefalteten Tragflächen zu bauen.
