Q: If this is for sprained ankles, then why doesn't it hold the foot at a 90 degree angle? I thought this is important to let the ligaments heal.

Dear Jsbjt: I use it to play voleyball and if it hold the foot at a 90 degree angle, I think it'll be difficult to do the normal movements during the game. For sports you can be sure it's works great. Best regards. Marco

There is a sizing chart available if you search Aircast on Google or Bing. I wear a size 8 shoe and I chose a medium. It fit fine.

Q: Where is the size chart?

My wife is 5'2" & 110 lbs. Size small was perfect for her. I'd estimate small would be for people up to 130 lbs. 130-170 medium. Over 170...large.
