Great Fit
Perfect! Exactly what I needed to fit. The gas can perfectly.

Spout itself fits Blitz/Midway, threads can be an issue, but, re-use threaded nut that comes with your current can.
Negative first, the threads only work with Rubbermaid/Rubbermaid contracted gas can. That being said, the spout and plug work perfect with Blitz and Midwest branded gas cans which have become the most common, and have the un-vented c.a.r.b. spouts that make use next to impossible and messy, even after you have drilled a vent hole in the can so the spout can draw. This spout resolves all issues and fits fine, this assumes you have already drilled a vent hole in your new/existing c.a.r.b. gas can. Without a vent, none of them work.

Pouring spout works as intented
I liked that the pouring spout was like we use to be able to buy from local stores in that the gas comes out flowing as it should. What was not that likeable was the ring the spout fits in didn't fit my 5 gallon container but was easily fixed by taking the 5 gallon container's original ring and inserting the spout in it then attached it to the container.

Gasket is cheap and distorts.
I put this spout on the gas can, went to the service station and filled the can and put the spout on the can for the very first time. After the can was empty, I went to the service station and filled the can for the second time, replacing the spout. When I went to get gas out of the can, gas kept spilling out around the cap. I removed the spout and looked at the gasket. It is not a rubber compound but a harder material. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the gasket, put it back on properly and then put it on the can. I then removed the spout and the gasket would not stay in place to properly seal the cap to the can. It has a permanent set from coming partially off of he spout and being squeezed in cap tightening process on the very first use. I was replacing a spout on a Gott gas can that I purchased in 1992. The spout had become brittle and developed a crack. I was able to remove the original rubber gasket from the 29 year old spout and use it as it was still soft and plyable. The new spout gasket is PURE JUNK. DO NOT BUY.

Did not fit my GOTT can
It would be a good product if it fit. The cap was too small to screw onto my gott can. I was able to make it work by using the old cap and the new spout. Spout is still too small to fit, but just big enough that it wonโt spill, but I had to position it just right before tightening the cap. So itโs functional, but just barely with my can. Probably would not buy again.

perfect fit for old Gott can
This works perfectly on my old Gott can. Bad reviews seem to be people who didn't read what type of can it fits. This will not work on new style safety cans that have more coarse threads. The new spout is much stiffer so I kept using the old one. The threaded cap and the gasket are what I needed

Fit perfectly.
They fit my Jerry cans perfectly have not filled the cans yet cannot say at the leak or not. Although good value for the money as I did not have any caps for the Jerry cans to begin with that I bought a yard sale.
