Arrived on time. The product is v.good for protecting medium sized bananas and is to a degree. Luv it!

A bit too rigid. Will not accept all shapes and sizes of banana.

In theory this is great, and it worked well for the first couple of months. Unfortunately the plastic is not strong enough to withstand repeated flexing and extension of the bendy section. The first time the plastic split I managed to tape it back together but the second split consigned it to the dustbin. I wanted to like this product but sadly must conclude that it's overpriced for something that only lasts a few months. I won't be replacing it so my search for robust banana protection continues...

Purchased this banana box after a disaster with one squashed banana on a picnic outing. I can honestly say this is a good bit of kit. we have just returned after a two day trip to my daughters. We put a banana in the box to take with us, it was not eaten, left it in the car for the two day duration,troden on, as that is where the travel food bag is normally stored beneath my feet and returned with it looking fresher than the other three left in the fruit bowl. A very good purchase and once you get past its a appearance, which raised a few laughs i can tell you, It was a fab buy.

I have used the Banana Box to carry my banana to work in my handbag (although my colleagues suspect I use it for something else - can't understand why!)where it is cushioned by my make-up bag etc. Almost always the concertina ridges have bruised the skin so I have a stripy bruised banana. In fact I think it gets more bruised with the Banana Box than it used to when I just put the banana into my bag! I don't find it very easy to shape to size either.

I bought this as a present and it was a reasonable price. The description had similarities to other more expensive banana boxes, so it seemed like a very good buy. However, the product itself is useless in my opinion. I tried to fit several different shape bananas in and all came out bruised as I had to force them to fit in. It's too straight and even though it says semi-flexible, I think it's not really at all if you're trying to fit a normal curved banana in. A waste of money I think!
