Thicker than the 1s I brought 1st good quality value for money

These needed to be exactly 10mm for a project I was working on and I can confirm, they are absolutely 10mm, they are fantastic, smooth, strong and accurate, I have no complaints at all.

The quality is not bad, the wood cuts clean and end grain looks ok. But don't buy these expecting them to be 10mm diameter as stated, they are not. They will drop through a 10mm hole, probably closer to 9.5mm, hence the 3 stars.

Bought these to use as alignment dowels for craft projects like in the picture, Ideal for my needs, and they are perfectly smooth with no real need to sand them before use. And can imagine they could be used in so many ways, be ideal to make a mini log cabin out of lol. But also would be a cheaper way of getting 5mm dowels for woodworking, just cut them to length yourself instead of buying the small packets of 25x40mm for a fiver, get about 1200 of them for the £17 quid of these.

Needed to make flag poles. Good strong quality. Slightly less than 10mm, I would say 9.5mm Fits perfectly into a 10mm hole

Just what I needed.

I don't know what others do with them, but I got these dowels for desktop pioneering for my scouts. They are perfect for practising lashing techniques and you can build some great things with them. They are also plenty sturdy enough to make mini catapults with, which the scouts loved doing! Very happy with them, and will happily buy more if needed in the future.
