Cannot work without a ballast
I had a CFL bulb I wanted to test, hence needing 4-pin adapter for standard screw Edison (E26/27) fixture. After 5 bulbs all did not work, and some diy video research, I finally realized that these Bulbs are Florescent (did not say CFL) so would need a ballast, which is why you cannot find adapters at any reputable hardware store. So unless you have E27 socket with wired Ballast, this adapter could never work.

BUYER BEWARE, PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK.
I wish the had a start for "RIP OFF". Product simply does not work. I tried several diffrrent bulbs, several fixtures that I tested before input. Nothing happened. Adapter simply do not work. BUYER BEWARE. Do not order this product. I could not find contact info to resolve yhe issue. Nothing there. I SIMPLY WAS ROBBED BY THIS COMPANY. They should not be allowed to sell this product on Amazon.

Work amazing if you know how bulbs work!
They work great! I put LED bulbs in so they do not run off of a ballast and no issues. Make sure the bulbs you are trying to use DO NOT require a ballast to operate!

A good E27 adapter for square socket LED bulbs.
These increase length by about 2.25", so be sure your fixture can accept that length. I'm using these for G24d LED bulbs and they work fine.
