Best Quality Pet Comb and Deshedding Tool By Hertzko - 2 in 1 Great Tool - Gently Removes Loose Undercoat, Mats and Tangled Hair

I have two average sized (~5kg) long haired cats who have a habit of picking up knots and mats in their fur - after trying various combs and brushes, none of which worked, a local pet groomer suggested I tried this. I've been using it for a few weeks now and so far so good, it's been the only thing thats managed to comb their fur and remove most knots without pulling and causing distress. The flexible head also helps to prevent excess pressure being applied as well so the cat doesn't feel like it's being bashed around. It's not the cheapest tool out there, but worth the money.

Very good product, though pins didn't work so well as they were too big for my small cats (but bought knowing they would be). The comb side is excellent, really very good at getting the loose undercoat out.

The fine comb is very good for capturing hair off my cat. The larger grooming comb is less effective for my particular moggy, but it may be more effective for longer or coarser coats. Unusually, the cat seemed to quite enjoy being combed by this, instead of trying to attack my hand.

My 21 yr old long-haired Cat was getting badly knotted.....and She was getting unhappy (claws and teeth!!!!) about the grooming needed. This WONDERFULLY designed tool not only easily removes the shedding of the heavy undercoat, breaks up tangles and knots etc........it is also very much ENJOYED by my OLD LADY!!!! She jumps up on the table for grooming if he sees me with it. I canot recommend this highly enough!!!

I have to say that I am totally delighted with this product. It is far superior than other similar products. I have a long haired young tabby who was getting matted knots and was having to cut them out, but not anymore, even my elderly 19yr old does not mind being groomed with this tool. Wish I had found this one sooner.

We recently had the cat groomer out to one of our long haired house cats. He had developed matts in his coat despite daily grooming. I have really struggled to find a comb that will go through his top coat and undercoat. The groomer recommended this comb and let me try hers on our cat and I was really impressed. I couldn't be happier with it, I just wish I had discovered it six years ago as it could have saved the trips to the vet to get his coat de-matted.

Absolutely perfect!!!! This is the 4th comb I've bought because all the others no good. I have a Poochon, he doesn't mind me using this comb one bit! And any matted bits come out easily without any fuss or tugging, so doesn't hurt. Would recommend to anyone. Use it on my Retreiver too. Highly recommended!!!!

Disappointed in this product after reading several reviews it sounded good but having tried the comb it is not suitable for an old english sheepdog Total waste of money as I will not be able to use.

I have tries every imaginable grooming tool in an effort to keep my cat's coats free of matt's and this is the one I have found works best. One side is very similar to the furminator and does just as good of a job and the comb on the other side with the two rows is fantastic. Having both on the same tool and having both sides actually useful makes grooming more efficient. The fact that it bends at the neck has been a real life saver for my cat with sensitive skin since it gently flows with the curves of her body. I love it and have gotten rid of all of my other grooming tools.

I struggled for 3 years to groom my Newfoundland/poodle cross with just a brush and a pair of scissors. His long wavy hair tangles easily and is a magnet for everything he walks by. We live in a rural area with a lot of trees...cedar twigs get caught in the fur on his legs, cottonwood bud scales catch in his paws, hemlock and larch needles everywhere else in his fur. This is an on-going, year-round problem that I tried to combat by just brushing him and then cutting out the unavoidable mats with some scissors. He's a big guy, 110 lbs. so grooming can be quite a chore. I got this 3 days ago and set to work. Not only am I succeeding in working through the mats, I'm getting a lot of the undercoat that makes him so uncomfortable in the summertime. I'm using the wide-tooth part to work on the mats and the fine-tooth part gently on his legs and paws. He isn't struggling like he used to whenever I sat down to groom him. I can use this whenever we come back from a walk. I'm looking forward to a time when he won't have mats in his fur that I have to wait until he's sleeping in order to cut them out with the scissors..

This product is two tool in one. Originally purchased for the under coat comb, but have found the rake side, quite effective as well. I needed both. Nice grip and pivotal head. No stress on our dog with this grooming tool.
