PIONEER TS-A1680F, 4-Way Car Audio Speakers, Full Range, Clear Sound Quality, Easy Installation and Enhanced Bass Response, 6-1/2” Speakers

These aren’t all that bass heavy but they’re pretty clear for what you’re buying. The A-Series Pioneer speakers are a great buy since you can now get them at end of life pricing and get speakers that are at the top of the budget spectrum. The components are noticeably better in terms of clarity and low end handling so if you have the ability to install components always do that. I used these for rear speakers in my F-150. The brackets that came with adapted just fine so I didn’t need additional adapters which is a nice bonus. The 4-way speaker setup should cut down on poor high range and high-mids that might cause ear fatigue which is a big deal when you play your music at higher levels. For $50-$60 these are a tough deal to beat when they were around $100 originally before Pioneer started to phase out all of their speakers from this era. They must be releasing new equipment late in 2020 to be cutting back on inventory but that means you can get a great deal. I recommend Pioneer for their durability and the more you spend the better returns you get. I also have a set of D-series 6x9 components and they’re amazing and cost 1/2 what other comparable speakers cost. I may eventually swap out the A series for D series but it’s not essential with the rear speakers not doing a lot for front seat riders so spending but doesn’t make much sense, unless you intend to put mud-bass drivers back there for better bass response but that’s another story. Good buy.

Great product for the price

This has been a nightmare! 1st I took everything apart and there is a clip from the door to the stock speaker. I ordered the female adapter Amazon said would fit. Took everything apart again, the female adapter didnt fit. Then I bout a set of male and female adapters, clipped, sodered wire and electric taped it got one installed door put back together on for the 3rd time and the window will only go down half way then it hits the speaker. So then I bought a 1/2" spacer for the mounting bracket https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ITN4IR6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and with longer screws that didnt come with anything purchased, I had laying around I got everything fitted and everything put back together. 4th time is the charm I guess. The speakers sound good, 3 times better than stock, twice as loud. Would need an amp to get the full potential out of them, they are 350 watt after all and being powered by my 80 watt stock head unit. I took off 1 star because of the pain to install them in my car when amazon said they where compatible with my 2016 kia forte5. More amazon's fault than the speakers but still effects the overall review of the product because pain in the butt install is something to consider when buying a item. Maybe there are other speakers just as good same price but easier install? Id wanna know..

Bought these to replace the dead front door speakers on my 2012 Chevy Malibu. I was a bit worried that most of the aftermarket speaker install videos showed a need for expensive brackets or heavy modification in order to fit my car. Luckily, the included universal brackets fit perfectly for the 2012 Chevy Malibu. It slips right in and mounts exactly like the bracket on the stock speakers. I just wish they included some butt connectors for the wires The speakers themselves sound pretty good. My old speakers haven't worked for a couple years so I can't really give a comparison, I'm also not an audiophile, but for the price I paid I feel like they deliver some pretty good sound.

They look really good and sound great they fit perfect in my tahoe I liked that it came with all the accessories to make it fit like the screws the washers the spacer and also the face plate to make it look nice and wires as well to make sure they get connected good, will recommend and will buy from them again.

I bought two pairs of these speakers to replace the 20-year-old factory set. They sound great and the price was right. Obviously, I’m not a super car speaker guy, however most people aren’t either. The speakers fit perfectly and were easy to install. If you’re looking to upgrade your worn out speakers without breaking the bank, then these are for you.

i have Honda Accord 2013 with Pioneer AVH 2300NEX Stereo, after i replaced the 4 speakers by Pioneer TS-A1680F. i thought i'm gonna need a subwoofer. but the sound is clear powerful more than enough

Way way better than the stock speaker, I returned the top speaker and bought this set, because this set comes with the adaptor so I dont need to drill some holes on the door. It's a mid-end speaker, not the flagship, but the sound is pretty good, after I add a small amplifier, the sound is much louder and superb. The high is pure and clear, the mid is rich, the bass is punch and deep, the separation and detail is good, the sound stage is wide, I can feel the car door vibrate. For the bass, you may feel not enough, but that's the real instrument's sound if you go to a symphony concert, I am happy with this set.
