Pearls Simply Olives Green Ripe Pitted Olives, Pack of 12, 6 oz Cans

These are excellent quality natural green olives, which are the absolute best olives you can eat. The flavor is buttery and fresh tasting with no metallic aftertaste like black olives have. Delicious!

Love these guys for cooking or just snacking.

These olives have become very hard to find. I used to be able to buy them in bulk at my local warehouse membership store, but they stop carrying them for some reason. Once in a while I could find a few cans at Target, but I rarely shop at Target for groceries anymore, especially with COVID-19 going on, I've been staying home for the most part and just doing grocery shopping once every 2 weeks or so. I have been unable to find them in the grocery stores I frequent, so I was happy to find them here on Amazon and as a subscribe and save option as well. These have been good for the most part, but every once in a while, I'll find a rotten olive in the bunch. I go through the batch of cans way too fast, but try to stretch them out to only order them once every 2 months. If they were just a bit less, I'd order them once a month. Both my son and I love the smooth, buttery, taste and firm texture of the olives - they have replaced chips for as a healthy alternative snack. :)

I almost hate giving these a review as they are great tasting and I don't want them to run out.

Was a good price at the time of purchase. 2 of the cans were half filled with black olives. When contacting the manufacturer over it they did not care. My main issue is black olives are much cheaper then these olives. I don't want to buy more expensive olives to find cheaper ones mixed in. It was several of the cans that had a few black olives mixed in but 2 of the cans were half filled with the black olives alongside with the green ones that were to be in there. I called the manufacturer many of times to still not gotten any calls back about this issue. It has been months if you are looking for the same type of product but better quality I would go with lindsay brand.

If you've never bought these, they aren't the tart ones you buy in glass jars at the grocery. They are buttery and nutty and taste exactly like black olives but with a bit more bite in the flesh of the olive. They pop just a bit more. I thoroughly enjoy that! They come packed in water with a pop top lid. None of my cans were dented. They have been delightful in every dish. Each can probably has thirty olives in it maybe. (I haven't counted.) You can add these to almost anything! Dips, sauces, pizza, tacos, burgers, eggs, let your imagination run wild! If the sodium is too much, wash them in cool water. They really are my preferred snack. I buy them a lot and can be considered an olive junkie. This brand is a good one!
