Good Quality Rack, Straightforward Assembly,Lots of Adjustments for equipment fit
Good build quality,Seller shipped item quickly and it was packaged on the outside with good protection. Protection on the inside could be slightly improved to prevent panel edges from getting damaged during shipment. Shipping costs were good given the large size and weight of the packages. Server rack has lots of adjustability for different size items which worked well for me, Functionality and assembly were not too difficult and I did it alone. Looks very good after assembly and airflow is good even though I added my own fans to the racks

Best Rack.
Have been buying this 42U rack for a while. This is extremely Sturdy and well built. Glass door gives fabulous looks. It has built in temperature sensor and fans to keep it cool. Putting together is not difficult either. Overall great product with beautiful looks.

Well made, but shelf isn't practical
The cabinet itself is very well made although the instructions are not always clear. The main problem I have with this cabinet is that it comes with a shelf that is 31 1/2 " long. Since the rails for most rack mounted equipment maxes out at around 27-28", there's no way to install this shelf without requiring extensions for all the equipment rails.

Good rack
Updated: Sysracks made it right. They had reached out asking what they could do to help. Offered to replace any bent or warped pieces. Since they've really tried to help and make sure I was happy, I've changed it to 5 stars from 3. If you've got a problem with your order, make sure to reach out to Sysracks and they'll help you out! Construction: The construction is okay... I only had three warped pieces and they came from the factory that way, not shipping. Shipping was 5/5 great and well packed. Delivery was 0/5 but that's not relevant for the product. I was able to fix two with a hammer and the last warped piece was the entire back door. Its just as solid sheet and really just impossible to level out. But, since it's the backdoor and I may or may not have it mounted by the time I load it with equipment..... whatever. Assembly: 0/5 awful. There is a youtube video that you HAVE to have: watch?v=Q5Qgd8KAhNU The framing was the worst part... sometimes the instructions that you MUST follow are at the very end of the instruction so you find yourself unscrewing and rescrewing a lot at the beginning. Every single screw got stripped. I wasn't aggressive with drilling, just a nice first snug fit. Every single one stripped. If you never have to take this apart for the rest of your life, perfectly fine. They include a LOT of extra screws and little knickknacks so that was great. My suggestion for the rubber standoffs for the doors is... they should be thin, not thick. If you're having trouble mounting the doors with these, make sure you're not using a thick standoff. If you are, look through your kit for the thinner ones. After the framing was done, the rest was easy peasy. Design: I mean, it's fine honestly. At the end of the day, it's just a server rack. For the homelab person or extremely small data center, this is fine. I would hate to be the guy to build a bunch of these. If you're flipflopping on that dumb red stripe, honestly in person it's not even that bad. You can peel it off if you want, there'll just be glue residue and a sharp corner with the glass. Honestly leave it or paint over it. It's not that bad in person. I haven't had a chance to rackmount any parts yet, but I don't see any issues as of right now. If I do run into issues, I'll update.

Glad I bought it
The case is pretty simple to assemble. It looks really good. I considered taking off a star because of the fan control. It beeps loudly when a button is pressed and it is kind of weird to adjust at first. As carefully as it was packed, three parts still arrived bent. The lower part of the front door, one of the frames and the included shelf all arrived with a slight bend. My rail configuration left no room to use the included shelf, so I can't consider that in part of the review. Again, most people would have probably taken off a star for this, but since it's not reflective of the product itself, I didn't. Overall, I can't wait to fill this rack up. Beautiful rack, but be prepared to spend some time breaking down the boxes. I think I set the rack up faster than all the time it took to break down the boxes.

Great bang for the buck!
Nice cabinets, great customer service! The quality of the 42RU cabinet I got far exceeded the price point and is nicely customizable. It comes unassembled which makes it much easier to move around, and the assembly is pretty easy (recommended to have a helper at least for the top component for tall cabinets). It looks nice and comes with a lot of extras, including a nice LCD display for temperature and fan control. The icing on the cake is that, when I asked about purchasing an extra lock for a 3rd party drawer I have mounted they simply sent me one. Very pleased with my purchase!

This rack is ready for anything !!!
I bought this rack for a new startup I'm launching later this year. 42U is bigger and badder than anything I have ever expected but I figured hey why not leaves a little room for growth. The rack is 7ft tall and weighs in at around 250lbs it has a max load of 1600lbs. The front is made of really nice tempered glass and the rear has a full size metal door to access the back of your rack. The 4 fans on top are serious as hell and can move a lot of air I thought they were going to be small and cheap they are not. This is a real deal datacenter cabinet with no compromises. I'm going to be using it to build a cloud storage business with it and I got to say I cant be happier. The instruction booklet is really nice and comes with 6 sets of keys and all the hardware you could ever need. Everything has security locks and many nice dust free passthroughs. The PDU is high quality and has a nice industrial feel to it. The shelf is sold as a rock and fits perfectly and is vented. I am very happy with my purchase. If you are building a business or looking to expand go with the 42U setup you wont regret it.

A decent rack with caveats.
Okay, so overall it’s a decent rack that comes with all those good ol’ enterprise features one looks for in a rack of this caliber like locking front and rear mesh doors, side panels for cable management and even a PDU and a quad-fan exhaust system which is nice. Mine came with physical Instructions that were easy enough to follow along with. With the help of a friend I got the rack built in less that half a day, but you will need definitely need at least 2 people to assemble this. Assembled, it’s a sturdy rack and it fulfills it’s purpose well. Now…depending on how high your expectations are in life (especially given QC issues as a result of the pandemic), there are some caveats that may or may not dissuade others from buying this rack. Your mileage may vary. First: I’m not sure if this happened in transit after order or from the point of manufacturing to Sysracks and no one bothered to check it, but some parts of the rack arrived with damage despite good packaging and copious amounts of FRAGILE labeling. Luckily for me, the few dents and damage to the rack pieces were able to be hammered out and didn’t prevent me from finishing construction with nothing misaligned or not sticking out when it shouldn't. The only real casualty of the damage is that I have to lift the front door just some in order to close it. Other that that it’s fine. It’s not going to look goofy or fall apart on me, that much I know. Second: The quality of everything is less than expected. It’s pretty much on par to an open frame Startech rack I had at one point which only cost me $180 and definitely not what I would expect from the enterprise racks made by Dell or IBM (I've serviced devices that live in them during my IT career) for the same price point. To see aluminum screws stripping easily, paint that scratches off with minimal enough force and the above mentioned rack damage I was annoyed. But again, life expectations and supply chain problems. Third: Remember that super cool, quad-fan cooling system I mentioned up top? Well, one of the fans doesn’t work. Even worse is that the wire on it is spliced into the others with no physical connector to the control panel. The fan can be easily unscrewed from the top of the rack and replaced, but I’ll likely have to either re-splice a replacement into the wire bundle going to the fan controller, or I’ll have to pick up a case fan with a NEMA plug and have it run 24/7, which will cost me outlet space when it didn’t need to. So there you go, It’s a decent quality server rack that will fulfill the purpose of holding lots of servers and networking equipment securely in a big, enclosed metal box. Does it have quality control issues that seem unwarranted for the price? Yeah. Could I have purchased an already assembled enterprise-branded rack off eBay and not had the same QC issues for the same price including the cost of freight? Probably. Will I be returning this rack for one of those fancy IBM ones? No. Again, it’s a rack. If your expectations are lower than average and you’re utilitarian enough to look at it for what it is, you might be able to get by with the flaws or maybe not even have them happen to you and still have a useable rack.

Good Service
The Network IT Cabinet is awesome and one of a kind design. Good airflow and very strong customer support. I have one part for replacement they shipped it right away when they received my email. I highly recommend Sysracks products.

Server Rack Review
Sysracks Server Cabinets are well manufactured products. This particular 42U rack cabinet is great for home labbers for several reasons. One would be the price point. For the price you are paying here, you get the functionalities of a much higher priced rack cabinets from other manufacturers. Another is that this rack cabinet comes in several boxes which you have to put together like a giant puzzle. This allows you to assemble this in places like the basement of a house without having to carry a fully put together 42U rack cabinet across the doors and floors. Overall design of this rack is 5/5. The frame is well made. Once the four posts were put together with the top and the bottom sections, the rack cabinet stood very strong. The fan control mechanism is easy to adjust and control via the LCD display at the front. Few things that should be improved; the thermostat wire is too short. Since most of us will load our servers and UPS units closer to the bottom of the rack, I think the thermostat wire should reach the bottom of the rack and even a bit more (for diagonal reach to the bottom). Instead, the wire length for the thermostat doesn't even reach the middle section of the rack. I could think of two ways to fix this; longer wire for the thermostat or have a detachable thermostat (like a USB) with a rail for connecting the thermostat anywhere from top to bottom. I understand the Sysrack is probably thinking that the hot air rises and the fans are at the top so the thermostat should really be at the top. But I disagree with that decision. Another improvement I could suggest is that the glass front version of this cabinet comes with a solid metal back door. But the mesh metal construction version, which is this version, of the server cabinet comes with mesh doors both on the front and the back. I wish they gave us an option to choose a mesh front but solid back door version of this model. But that is just a personal preference. The rack rails are very well made and the included rack mounting screws and cage nuts are high quality. The screws even had the plastic washer to prevent scratches on devices. The package also did not include M6 grounding/bonding cables for the doors even though the doors and the mainframe had screw terminals for grounding/bonding. But you can buy those for about $5-10 each on Amazon. The screws for the grounding terminals were included in the package. The PDU is not very high quality. They should have just simply not given us one and maybe pass down the savings to the customer! Specific elements design of this rack, 4/5. The instructions on putting this together were not very clear. But to overcome that issue, the manufacturer has a brief video of how parts should come together on YouTube. However, that video is not very detailed either so you would have to watch multiple times, pause it and rewatch it, etc. Also the plastic box that the nuts and bolts came in had small plastic bags. However, I think they should label the bags on the bag itself instead of the lid of the plastic storage box. When you start assembling the rack cabinet, you will have to keep track of which bag of screws, nuts and washers goes with what number. If they have put stickers right on the bag, this would not be a problem. In my particular delivery, the company forgot to include the locks for the side panel. Instead I did however get an extra lock and a latch for the front/back panel. However, 5/5 for great customer service for shipping us 4 sets of locks for the side panels once the Sysrack team was informed about the issue via Amazon messages. It only took them 5 business days to deliver the missing parts to my home. The customer service is 5/5. The rack cabinet was delivered very well packaged, but there were few small dents on the top and the bottom panels. Everything else like side panels and frame are all delivered with no damage. At the end of the day it is a minor issue. Overall, I can give this item a solid 4/5. Would I recommend this product to others? Yes, absolutely! This price and packaging (disassembled) is great for home labbers.

Awesome rack, easy to assemble
I wish it came with two shelf but that is not a big ting. Fans are a bit loud but they work great. Other then that all and all this is a great rack and very well protected on its way here so no scratches

nice rack, clean build, noisy fans
this rack fits the bill just fine, all the parts were not scratched and the glass front door is a nice addition as this rack is not in our server room. I put this together to house the media wall components and have a nice look, but still lock everything.the included upper fans are not quiet, but work well with its temp probe, will keep them off unless needed, and swap out for quiet options. took me an hour to build solo, taking my time as to not scratch anything. all in all very happy with purchase, glass to keep people from spilling anything through the mesh, sturdy design, and easy to assemble.
