I did order the king size for my queen bed. I am glad I did so it will easily go over my duvet cover as an extra layer for cold Chicago winters. The quilt for the summer is perfect, light, but warm. It looks much more expensive and the quality thus far has been great. I was close to ordering a similar quilt from West Elm and decided to give this one a try and I'm glad I did. I had no problems washing it. I also purchased a little pilling machine if it starts to pull, which I haven't noticed yet.
