WE Games Metal Jacks Set – Classic Jacks Game with 2 Red Balls in Keepsake Wooden Box – Nostalgic Floor Game

The quality was excellent. I love the little wooden storage box. This was so much fun to play! It brought me back to my childhood. My grandkids were quite interested in the challenge.

I attended my grandson’s grandparents’ day. Jacks was brought up in a game we played regarding what grandparents played with as children. As a result I looked for, and found, a set on Amazon, as well as pick up sticks. My grandchildren enjoyed playing. We were all surprised at how difficult it was for everyone to do it, including young adults. It’s a GREAT game for eye-hand coordination. The quality of the items are very good. I was concerned we’d get a ball with marginal bounce, but that didn’t happen, it’s got a good bounce. I especially like the box. It’s very nice and keeps everything contained. The instructions were helpful—we started out doing it incorrectly. My twin grandsons are 10 years old.

Everything I have ever ordered from this game maker has been good quality and a good value for the money. This set comes in a nice stained wooden case with a flip up lid and magnetic closure, which is nice to make it harder for the jacks to spill out accidentally. Some reviewers mentioned that the jacks are lighter weight than ideal. And I have to agree. I remember them being heavier back in the day. However, virtually every set I saw on the market today is made with this same material. Unless you find a vintage set in eBay, I think this is what you get.It had been so many years since I played, I was happy to see that this set came with easy to understand instructions about how to play. My husband and granddaughter really got a kick out of playing it. I can see us using this for many years to come.

Oh my goodness. I haven’t played Jax since my daughter was young, over 30 years ago. I saw this fun Jacks in a box and had to get it. I am going to give it to my seven year old grandson next week, since he is starting to do lots of hand eye coordination games. This Jack’s and ball game will be perfect. The small wooden storage box is terrific!I will take more pictures next week and add them to my review…but the bright red ball should bounce well and the jacks are made of light metal, just like the old days. I like that. Didn’t want plastic.Very happy with this item, and highly recommend.

My parents have been teaching my younger cousins about the classic games. This was such a great item for them.

Almost 5 stars. The jacks are well made, nice little kit. If I was asked to find something to gripe about it would be the lid won't stand open on it's own without tipping the box back a little. Lid opens and stops at a 90 degree angle. Would like to see it open at a 120 or even all the way back. Otherwise, nicely made box, strong magnet keeps it shut, hinge point seems to be strong, good looking finish which appeared to be similar in color to maple. I'd give it a 4.9

Out seven year-old loves this set of jacks. The box is both attractive and useful. I played a lot of jacks as a kid and am looking forward to showing him more.

This was a perfect stocking stuffer for my 6 year old granddaughter. She loves the game.
