This Grommet is worth it. I used it in my RV to make my wires appearance better. The brushes are very thick and wrap around the wires without gaps. That's the main reason I bought this over the others. The others leave gaps, and are cheaply made.

I used these to run lan wires under the floor. In my use case I only used half of each one to make a half circle against the wall. They work great and don’t let the tumblebunnies in and little dog feet don’t fall through because of the rubber backing. Very sturdy.

These are a little bigger and less flush to surface than i was expecting, but otherwise what i was expecting, the brush material that holds cables needs to be finessed into the right positions, but otherwise no complaints.

I am not using it for what it is made for but it works great. Some sloppy work was done in making a hole in my dry wall for my washer drain hose and I have been searching for something that could clean up the look and improve the function. I cut out a bit more of my drywall using the back of this as a template and slid it into place. The grommet has rubber behind the brush that helps hold the hose in place. It looks much better to have a finish product peeking out behind my washer and it helps hold the hose in the drain when I move the washer to clean or grab the things that inevitably fall around it. I’m sure this would be great for its intended purpose as well!

Not sure what these are really meant for, but I installed one in the wall of my garage that I use to run my Tesla Wall Charger cable so that I can park in or out of the garage without having the door open. Install was pretty easy, I traced the shape with a sharpie and then cut it out with a jigsaw. I put the two sides in and then attached the screws. The charging plug fits through pretty easily, and then brushes seem to minimize the amount of air and water that get through. I've been using it for about 3 months with no issues. Good value for the money I would say.

Excellent product would buy again

These brush grommets are excellent. Very large (check dimensions before ordering) and perfect for what I needed. I have a recording studio with a room that's designed for optimal acoustics. But I often need to run cords through the wall to connect up equipment, microphones, etc. I wanted something that would attenuate sound in both directions, yet be large enough for cord bundles and bulky cable ends. These brush grommets are perfect. They were simple to install. Just cut holes and screw them in place. I added an ABS sleeve inside the wall as well so it took a little fiddling around to work all of that out. The end result is great. I'm very pleased with the way this works. Great quality and value. Haven't installed it yet...but seems sturdy enough. Gonna use it to pass-thru the wall of a shed to connect a 50A RV cable. The bad news.... They didn't provide all the fasteners.
