Saved my cockatiel for laying more eggs!
My birb did a great job in laying her egg for the first time. We were both excited & freaked out at the same time, asking ourselves, now what?! I'm grateful for some FB group that recommended this brand. I paid for quality, size & almost close to actual color. I can easily rely on these in the future. This picture was taken when I took her to the vet for her post natal exam 😉

So far so good
The good: the eggs are almost identical to my cockatiels. If someone could find a complaint I'd say they're really trying. As far as size, weight, appearance, and everything you'd see in an original cockatiel laid cockatiel egg, these are realistic. The only thing I can't say is whether or not it worked on tricking my girl yet. I just put them in. I'll come back and update. The eggs are pricey but I guess if you don't have an option you buy what is available. I also don't know what a fair price is for these and obviously I paid the price. Would I say they're worth the price? Not necessarily. I'd like to say these could easily be $5 cheaper and be just as good, but I won't discredit the fact that they do put a good quality forward and you get that with these. They're not cheap quality. There is a pamphlet of good information to accompany the eggs and I think overall the product is what a person needs when trying to stop overlaying or what have you.

Almost like the real thing ... can't believe that little thing squeezes out that ...
So far so good. It doesn't stop laying but rather slows it down slightly. The size and texture are spot on, to the point that I have to double and trip check which are dummy and which are real.

Excellent Product!
My little tiel would not stop laying eggs and I was very concerned for her health and loss of calcium. After reading heartbreaking stories of bird owners losing their little ones to chronic egg laying I wasted no time and I did my research and found this product that had great reviews. I was impressed at how similar the fake eggs were to the real eggs, both in size and color. She still lays an egg every now and then but not like she used to. Follow the instructions carefully and there are videos available on the internet for you to watch.

Worked but way too expensive for what it is
UPDATE* She started laying her eggs regardless and started to push away a couple of the fake eggs. I am very upset. It's making her weak. She's very old. They eggs are made out of plastic, not ceramic. Why should little plastic eggs cost over $30? However, they did work for my 15 year old teil that started laying eggs...AGAINNNN...after 4 years of stopping. I thought she was too old. At this point, I had to do something because it could possibly kill her.

Works as advertised ans fast shipping
I got this for my cockatiel after she laid her first egg and then she laid her second egg 2 days later then this arrived the following day and I swapped her eggs and put extra in as per the directions and she didn't lay anymore. She just ignored the eggs afterwards so they kept my cockatiel from laying more eggs without a mate. The color is almost identical to the birds eggs and the same shape as well almost so it's hard to tell which one is fake unless you look closely.

Effective!
These came so quickly, have great directions and seem to work well! They look just like cockatiel eggs and definitely fool my cockatiel, helping to get her out of her laying cycle. They also come with helpful instructions and are very easy to clean!

Cocktail size eggs.
Didn't work on my girl but they are well designed.

Good product
The eggs work perfectly with my cockatiels. At first, they found it odd that they were so white compared to the dirty pooped on real eggs, but they got over it quickly and sat on them.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Used for compulsive egg laying cockatiels... worked wonderfully. I found I could swap one laid egg for 2 dummies. This brought the total eggs laid way down... and the birds quickly lost interest in sitting on them. I used in conjunction with other techniques suggested by my veterinarian: Limiting daylight hours, not overly petting my birds, hiding their food in different areas so they had to work to find it, and keeping any attractive hiding areas, and layers of paper out of the cage... all of which will make laying less desirable. These seem very expensive but they are virtually undetectable from the real size, colour and shape of real eggs. They are weighted exactly like real eggs and can be warmed by your hands before placing in nesting area ... and will warm as birds sit on them. A brilliant invention. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Be patient. They DO work.
