I generally don't bother with product reviews but thought i would on this one due to the comments left by others. The product is great quality for the price. Contrary to other comments i found it straightforward to build - took about 40 mins building it on my own. Instructions aren't great (poor quality black and white pictures) but the part labelling and narrative descriptions of what to do are accurate. One tip is to go to the back page of the instructions that has 2 diagrams of the finished product showing where each of the parts is used. I found this a good sense checker of my interpretation of the instructions. The product design with a relatively discreet base (compared to other similar sets) is clever keeping the space under the hoop free like on a real court. Our previous, much more expensive set had the base in this area. The height adjustment is very easy to use and offers a wide range of different heights. It takes seconds to change the height and the product is solid again and ready to use immediately. Lastly and most importantly our 15 and 12 year olds love it and its got them out in the fresh air playing despite the colder October weather.

The instructions aren't very good, which makes it a challenge to assemble. Furthermore, I'm not sure that it quite reaches 305 cm/10 feet - seems slightly shorter than that, but I could be wrong. But overall, it's great. As I mentioned, assembly was tough, but it's possible with 2 beers and a little profanity. The finished product is very good and looks nice. It's sturdy and holds up well even in extreme wind, but it's also easy to move if necessary. For the price, it's excellent.

We got this basketball hoop stand as a present for our son. The instructions were basic but it was easy and quick to put together working with a partner. My husband was a little overenthusiastic screwing on the feet and one foot broke in the process. I contacted the seller. They replied within the day and sent replacement feet which arrived just after a week. The basketball hoop stand is well made and sturdy. It stands out in the open, has been played with every day and is still in excellent condition. We filled the base with water so it is very heavy but due to the attached wheels it is easy to move around but also won't fall over. The hight can be adjusted. We are very happy with the product and would recommend it to other customers.

I read the reviews before ordering this product and there are a lot of comments about how hard it is to assemble. I have to say the instructions aren’t the best but with a bit of logic it wasn’t too hard to put together. Once assembled it’s good quality and sturdy. I had a small issue with one of the feet breaking during assembly so contacted the seller and they were brilliant and arrange for a replacement part which was received quickly so can’t fault the service.

This was great until the wind blew and it fell. The backboard is broken so totally useless. I am not the first to have this problem looking at the reviews - and have tried to contact seller via Amazon to no avail I dont want to buy a new one as it would be such a waste - but looks like I might have to. Shame.

Pretty sturdy, though the post twists a bit when the ball hits the edge of the back board, but otherwise stable. Reasonably easy to manoeuvre, though you’ll need a bit of strength when the post is fully extended and the base filled with water or sand. Biggest downside is that the assembly instructions are terrible with near-Indecipherable images and very little text to explain. Fortunately, there aren’t that many parts and you can figure it out, but it’s quite easy to get some of the pieces back to front which is annoying. Tip: if the angled braces which attach from the base to the upright pole don’t fit, take them off and reverse them as they’re on the wrong way around. Make sure that the upright pole sections have the adjustment holes pointing backwards to the base with the safety label facing forwards or you’ll have to take the whole thing apart and start again! Should take about 30 min to assemble. Good news is that my kids love it and are having great fun shooting hoops. Edit: the bolts holding the hoop to the back board need to be regulary checked as they work themselves loose over time.

Very sturdy - has not blown down in strong wind. Getting smashed by adults - still standing. Two people assembly but easy enough - took about 30mins Big hit with all family - with different heights
