Choose the Right Mesh for Your Filtration Needs Higher mesh = finer filtration but slower flow rate. Use the table below to select the perfect grade – from coarse straining to micro filtration. Smooth Surface, Efficient Filtration As a dedicated supplier of food grade nylon filters and sheets, we serve DIYers, home brewers, chefs, and industrial users worldwide. Every mesh is manufactured with strict quality control. Versatile for Home & Industry – One Mesh, Endless Uses •Kitchen – Strain yogurt, nut milk, juice, wine, coffee, or sift flour • Craft – Embroidery backing, screen printing, aquarium net • Garden & Farm – Seed sifting, hydroponic screen, plant protection • Industrial – Machinery filter cloth, pool or spa strainer, chemical filtration Review: Versatile, Easy-to-Cut Mesh That’s Great to Keep on Hand - This is one of those simple products that ends up being surprisingly useful in a lot of different situations. The mesh is easy to cut down to whatever size you need, which makes it really flexible for small projects or one-off uses. I’ve used it as a cheesecloth substitute and also as a breathable cover for jars when growing sprouts, and it works great for both. The 200 mesh is fine enough for filtering while still allowing good airflow, so it strikes a nice balance depending on what you’re using it for. It also feels durable for how lightweight it is, and it cleans up easily after use. Having a large sheet means you’re not worried about using it up—you can just cut what you need and keep the rest for later. Overall, it’s a handy, multi-purpose material to have around if you do any kind of DIY filtering, food prep, or small projects. Review: There are 1 million uses for this cloth!! - So far since I ordered this, I have used a corner eye clipped off as a bag for spices and a soup broth I was making, used another portion to strain my homemade cheese, and also used some to cover my rising bread. This is super easy to cut to the exact size you need so you don’t have to worry about it fitting it absolutely will. It’s perfectly versatile for your kitchen, and washes up perfectly when you’re finished using it. My husband didn’t know that it was washable and tried to toss it out. I’m so glad I caught that before it went in the trash. I told my son to take a picture of it for my review and apparently he didn’t know it was a kitchen item and it was not sure what to do so he took a picture of it like a rug. That’s absolutely ridiculous, but it doesn’t show you the size with his big old shoes in the picture.

Great for making butter! Plus Reusable!
I’m very happy with these nylon cloths! They worked perfectly when making butter and buttermilk. They are well made, even though there are puncture holes and some fraying around the edges. They’re super easy to cut to your desired size. Plus, they were a breeze to wash and reuse! No smells, stains, or clumps. I’m thoroughly impressed, think it’s a great value and would highly recommend!

Versatile and durable
This is a generous square of material at 39" x 39" and easy to customize. What I liked: The weave is incredibly fine. I used a portion of this to strain some leftover latex paint that had developed "skin" chunks, and it worked perfectly, leaving me with a smooth finish that didn't clog my sprayer. Unlike cheesecloth, which is essentially disposable, this nylon is tough. You can pull it tight over a bucket or frame without it tearing. Because it is synthetic, it doesn't absorb liquids like natural fibers do. I rinsed it with warm soapy water after straining some homemade almond milk, and it looked brand new once it air-dried. Things to consider: If you plan on cutting this fabric to size, the edges will fray. If you're using this for food prep, I highly recommend quickly running a lighter flame along the cut edges to sear them, or you'll end up with tiny nylon threads in your juice. Also, this material is a bit stiffer than a standard nut milk bag. If you're planning on "milking" or squeezing it by hand, it take a bit more effort to bundle up. Overall, this is a cost-effective way to get a lot of high-quality filter media. Just be prepared to finish the edges if you plan on washing and reusing individual pieces frequently.

Good mesh quality, but edges need better finishing
The mesh itself looks pretty decent. The density is even, the thickness feels about right, and the overall size is quite generous, which makes it flexible for different uses. However, the finishing around the edges is not great. There’s no proper treatment on the sides, so there are quite a few loose threads. On one side, I even noticed a line of small holes along the edge, which I’m not sure is intentional or a defect. Because of that, you do need to be a bit careful when using it. If you’re planning to use this for food filtering, there’s a risk that some of the loose fibers could get into what you’re straining, which is not ideal. So while the material itself is fine, the lack of edge finishing does affect the overall usability. It’s still usable depending on your application, but you may need to trim or seal the edges yourself for better results.

Great for Cold Brew
We've been using cotton cloth for our cold brew coffee, but it's not easy and gets pretty messy. This nylon mesh is a great alternative. The mesh is very fine and doesn't let the coffee granules through, but still drains the liquid coffee very well. It also is very easy to clean up with just a quick rinse. I probably wouldn't have ordered quite as large of a size as I got if I were to order it again, but it does give plenty of fabric to hold onto. I can't comment on it for other uses, other than to say it's good quality and solid for how thin and fine the mesh is. I'm not worried about tearing it or damaging it in any way. I usually don't like single use kitchen gadgets and items, but this folds up small and is honestly truly worth it for how easy it is to use.

This mesh is my secret behind crystal clear chicken broth and the perfect homemade cheese.
This mesh is excellent. I wasn't able to find this fine mesh anywhere be before, so I am beyond happy to get it. The mesh comes is 39in by 39in square (please see the video) so I had to cut off the piece that I needed, but look at the results - after straining the broth, I was able to catch the final "impurities" to achieve the perfection - crystal clear chicken broth (sorry, that's how I was raised) before I had to use a few layers of the bideer size mesh, and the single layer of this, size 100, hot the job done. Very easy to clean, very durable. Can't wait to make a fresh batch of cheese and use this mesh. Highly recommend this product

Has multiple uses in the kitchen
I use drip coffee maker to prepare my coffee drinks. I stayed away from many modern coffee makers because all of them create exorbitant plastic wastes that add to the volume of our landfills. Even the drip coffee maker uses paper filter which can either be thrown into the compost or burnt; I noticed those filters are not made out of simple sheets of paper, but they have coatings that prevent them from falling apart under hot water pressure. They don't decompose easily either. I was looking for something to replace those paper filters with. This nylon mesh cloth does a good job of filtering coffee without taking away any of its flavor; in addition it is reusable and it is easy to clean.
