GPS Tracker for Dogs

It works flawlessly with accurate, real-time updates and no monthly fees, which is a huge plus. Setup was quick and the app is super easy to use. It gives me so much peace of mind—I’ll definitely be buying more!

This GPS tracker works well, but IT DOES NOT TRACK LIVE. IT TAKES 10-30 MINUTES TO UPDATE LOCATION. So if you want live, real time tracking, then you will need to buy a tracker with a subscription. It doesn't track live and in real time, BUT IT DOES TRACK. I tested the unit without Bluetooth activated to ensure the app and the tracker weren't using Bluetooth to locate the tracker. So it did find the tracker, but it took about 10-30 minutes to update the location. I drove with the unit in my car and when i got to a destination, i checked the app regularly to see when it would update the location. The quickest time was 10 minutes. It usually took about 30 minutes to update the location. I'm using this for my dog in case she gets lost. Real time tracking would be nice, but i don't want to pay for a subscription service, especially since she rarely gets lost. I bought a dog collar holder for the Tile trackers and this gps tracker fits nicely. I installed the app on an old phone that I use as a music player and this phone doesn’t have cell phone service. I use my wi-fi or if I’m away from home, I setup a hotspot with my phone and connect this old phone with the MyTag app. MyTag is probably alright but I try not to install any apps that are not well known and not well vetted. By isolating it to my old phone that has very little personal information and that I don’t use regularly, I feel a bit more comfortable using this app and tracker. I haven't figured out how to set boundaries so that it will notify me if the tracker leaves a specific area. I've looked throughout the app and pretty sure it doesn't have this option. It does provide up to 3 days tracking history. So you can see where the tracker has been during the past 3 days. SUMMARY -No subscription -GPS Tracker is not live real time updating -GPS Tracker updates location in about 10-30 minutes in the MyTag app -3 day history of tracker location in app -not able to set a boundary to alert you if the GPS tracker leaves a certain area -can make the gps tracker make a beeping sound if you are within bluetooth range and connected, but if the gps tracker is in a completely enclosed case like my dog collar holder, the sound is muted -gps tracker fits in Tile Tracker cases (at least it fit in the tile tracker dog collar case i bought) Not having to pay a subscription is nice and if my dog gets lost, I may not know where she is immediately but I'll know the general area where she is and if someone picks her up or she settles down in one spot for 30 minutes or more, I should be able to find her. It's a nice little device especially for the price.

Only seemed to work once the tracker was in bluetooth range of the phone. If it has GPS capability, it doesn't seem to work. This is the second tracker that I bought from the same company. The first one (different model) didn't work either.

Great product easy to use and really helps with finding whatever you put this on. Gives you that peace of mind. Hide somewhere in car or even put as keychain to not loose keys. Value for the money

It tells me exactly where my car is. Would be nice if it came with adhesive or a magnetic back like others. It can still connect even when I put it deep under my trunk’s carpet. I will get some more for my keys and wallet soon. It says it doesn’t come with a battery but it does! Well, I bought a 10 pack from Walmart so i’ll have years of use now. I really appreciate that I don’t need a SIM, battery (comes with one already), or subscription. My Corvette Stingray was stolen last week so I bought this tracker this week. They relayed my key signal. I also bought a faraday box and portable pocket that hooks on to my belt loop.

Great little tracker for the price. Easy to set up and works well for keeping an eye on my car and belongings. The magnetic feature is strong, and I like that there’s no monthly fee. Accuracy is decent, though it can lag slightly at times. Overall, very useful and worth it.
