This was a big hit for us! We've made games before out of poster board, but having a real folding board has made game-making so much more fun. I had intended to design the game on my computer and print it out on the printable sticker sheets, but we ended up just drawing directly onto the board itself with permanent markers and using the sticker sheets for cut-out details and a printed cover to put on the box. I was happy with how well the printable pages work: they print clearly and don't smudge. I love the variety of options that we had with this set and the quality of the game board. It's a standard game board size but it doesn't come with any extra game pieces, as stated in the product description. We made it to play ourselves, but it would also be a lot of fun to make a themed game to gift to a loved one! It's a good value for the price and quality.

Oh. The. Possibilities. I am ridiculously excited about this kit — and also completely stuck, because I cannot settle on a game theme. Do I go Bigfoot? Enchanted forest? Deer in a hot tub? All feel correct. All feel necessary. As a Professional Nanny, this is exactly the kind of project that checks every box: creativity, problem-solving, storytelling, and collaborative play. The board itself is a great size, the printable sticker sheets are easy to use, and the whole concept invites kids (and adults) to actually think about how a game works — not just play one. I also love that the storefront has all kinds of accessories to build out your game — pieces, cards, extras — which makes this feel like a complete creative ecosystem, not just a one-off craft. The concept and presentation are fantastic. Everything feels well thought out and designed to spark imagination rather than limit it. Final verdict: I love this whole idea. Now I just need to pick a theme… and accept that I may end up making multiple games. Highly recommend for creative families, classrooms, or nannies who love a good project spiral.

This was ultimately complicated to print and cut down and get it to stick properly. It works okay in a jam but I spent an excruciating amount of time configuring things to the game board, cutting it all down right, and then sticking it (which was tedious getting it to line up and not very forgiving if you messed up).
