This was a direct replacement for my 10 year old Tool Shop compressor. The original manifold was broken when a connector was hit by a garage door. Due to the reviews mentioning breakage of the new manifold during replacement, I was very cautious not to over tighten and not to cross thread. Some connections were hard to start, possibly due to paint in the new threads. Once installed, I have a small leak, but in fairness the original leaked somewhere, and again, I was not willing to risk tightening my connections more to stop a small leak. Overall, I am very happy that I was able to save my compressor with this $20 investment.

I was very happy to find this available. I had looked everywhere. It was an exact replacement for the part I needed. When I installed it the regulator pressure gauge connection was leaking. Knowing that it was very cheap/weak metal, I tightened it very slowly and carefully - 1/8 turn at a time. The metal literally denigrated as I tightened it making it a waste of my time and money!

Putting in the last pressure gage and it cracked. It was not like i was wrenching on it either, just poorly casted aluminum . I read the other reviews and i was like , well ill just be careful and not put a lot into it. A year old would have over tightened it! Don’t waist your money!!
