I am very impressed with the quality and design of this Spyder quarter-zip pullover. It has quickly become a favorite for those days when you need something with a bit of weight that still feels incredibly soft against the skin. It’s lightweight but still provides a bit of warmth, making it perfect for layering under a jacket or wearing on its own during mild weather. Some pros and cons on this one. Product is super warm and comfortable, however, the material has a significant amount of fuzz that rubs off, especially on seat belts. Better used under a jacket as it’s a mess as a top layer.

I love this shirt! When I read the "Corduroy" bit I was thinking it might be a bit rough, but was I ever wrong. It just looks like corduroy because of the ridges. As soon as I opened the package I was like, "Oooo, so soft..." I put it on right away and wore it around the house all evening. It's very, very comfortable. The fabric is really stretchy and just kind of drapes over you like a hug. The thickness is somewhere in between a long sleeve cotton t-shirt and a fleece, warm but no too bulky. The styling is clean and understated. It's a bit winter athletic like you're casually lounging around the ski chalet. It could dress up or down and still look great. Nice quality in the stitching, too. Turning it inside-out shows that the front zipper is double stitched and the rest of the seams are overlocked for strength. I'm 5'11", 190 pounds, 43" chest, 20" shoulders. Size chart says I'm a large, but I ordered up a size as I didn't account for the stretchiness. The size chart doesn't lie here. The XL is oversized on me. I thought about returning it for a large, but I decided that I like the loose, sweater-like fit so it's a keeper. The only potential down side I can see (granted I'm nitpicking a bit here) is that the little logo on the chest and "SPYDER" lettering on the upper back are glued on vinyl-like material. The logos are small and unobtrusive, but they look like the type that might crack or peel over time or after multiple washes. That might explain why the care tag recommends not ironing the trims and using a low-heat dryer setting. Can't take away stars for a "maybe" though. Still a 5-star shirt for comfort, quality and style.
