This island looks great and works great for a small house or apartment. It's a lot of work to get it together, but it's worth it if you're looking for a nice island with a good bar to eat and work at. It has plenty of storage space, and the drawers and cabinet doors work well. The package it comes in is heavy, so try to have a dolly to get it into your house or apartment. The package was beat up on the ends, but the parts are packed very well, and nothing was damaged. Make sure you have a good 15 x 15 foot space to lay out all the parts so you can check them off the list and find them more easily during the build. The build will take about 4 to 5 hours. It's a lot of hardware and parts. All the parts are marked with a small sticker letter, but pay extra close attention to part orientation when inserting hardware and the positions of holes. If you're not good at assembling Ikea-type furniture, then you should think about hiring a handman for assembly.

He saying you get what you pay for is absolutely true here. The directions had several mistakes that had I followed them would’ve ruined the install. The hardware was cheap pot metal so when you tightened anything down if you use just a little too much force with a hand tool, I was able to crack one of the locking inserts. They offered no extra parts like most kits do. The screws and the material were not a good match and everything was very loose upon initial construction. I had to disassemble it only to then put in wood glue into every hole and allow that to set up long enough to then drive the screws back in, which actually did snug up the fit. I advise you spend more money get a better product as this is pure junk.

Solid product. Extensive build. Sub-par instructions. UPS guy dragged the box out of his truck and dropped it onto the driveway. I think that’s why one of the pieces was broken. I made it work but still sucks. A few missing screws.

This item took a while (3.5 hours) to put together solo, but it's solid and hasn't given me any issues so far. If you have a narrow space, this should work well for you.

The island counter is beautiful, the charging station is installed in a very convenient location, and the overall size fits my kitchen perfectly. When there are fewer people, I can fold it up and place it against the wall, and when I need to host a dinner party, I can simply extend the table. It's a beautiful and practical kitchen island, and the quality of the product is excellent. I think I'll be able to use it for much longer than expected.

Assembly can be completed faster with two people working together! This product is exactly as described. Although it took a considerable amount of time to assemble, the island unit perfectly meets my needs! It has made my kitchen much more functional.
