I repair cameras and lenses for a hobby and I thought this magnifying glass would be a good way to magnify and illumination my lenses at the same time. Overall, I was happy with it, but there were a few minor things I didn't like. Pros: * I haven't done a lot of shopping for these, but the price seems reasonable for what you get. * The magnifier is sharp and magnifies well. * The light is bright and illuminates evenly. * It has a reasonable range of adjustment, considering that it's advertised an entry-level product. * You can vary the intensity of the light, although I always had it on max. You can vary the color temperature, but that didn't seem all that useful in a magnifier, although its the same setup I've seen in Neewer lights for photography, where it can be useful. * The device seems well-made with substantial components and not likely to fall apart during use, except for the adjustment knobs. * The box it came in makes a surprisingly good compact storage place for it when not in use. * Unlike many similar devices, it actually comes with a AC adapter to use with the USB-A cord to the light. Cons: * The adjustment knobs do not seem to be the best quality. The one that secures the magnifier in position is made from thin plastic and since you have to crank it down pretty hard to make it work, I think it might not last long. * The position is not completely adjustable and in some cases, you'll have to reposition the clamp to get the view you are looking for. Overall, I think this a good product, especially advertised as an entry-level device, and I recommend it.

I recently got the NEEWER Entry Level N19 Magnifying Glass with Light and Clamp Stand, and it has quickly become a handy addition to my desk. The setup was straightforward straight out of the box, just attach the clamp and secure the arm with the thumbscrews. The flexible arm and swivel head make it easy to position the magnifier and light exactly where I need it, whether for close work or as a general desk lamp. The 10X magnifying lens is clear and distortion-free, making it perfect for small craft projects, electronics work, or reading fine print. I especially appreciate the built-in LED ring light, which is dimmable and offers three color modes. While the color modes look mostly white to the eye, the brightness and adjustable tones reduce eye strain and give plenty of illumination for detailed tasks. The lamp is USB powered, and it comes with an AC adapter, so you can also use a power bank for portability. The construction is mostly metal and feels solid for light to moderate use. The arm can wiggle a little in the clamp, so I wouldn’t rely on it for heavy-duty or professional industrial work. Still, for home crafting, reading, or occasional video calls, it performs well. Overall, the NEEWER N19 is a versatile, affordable, and well-designed tool for hobbyists and beginners. Its flexibility, magnification, and lighting make it excellent value for the price.

As my photos show, the unit came with a USB A connector to power it and did include the AC power adapter (nice feature). It was pretty well assembled right out of the box - just needed to slip the bottom of the lamp into the mounting hardware (clamp to attach to a desk or table) and then there was a knob to tighten to lock the unit in place if you wanted. My experience was that I clamped it to my desk and I found the light gave lots of illumination to my desktop, and I can pull it down to use the magnifier whenever I need. I love that setup. Every point where the lamp flexes (the base, the middle of the arm, and the connection to the light head) has a thumbscrew system to lock it in place or just stiffen it, so I can make it stay in any configuration that I choose. The light is dimmable and comes in four different outputs - although they all look white to the naked eye (despite showing as white, blue, yellow, and orange in the photos). You can choose the shade/tone of color that you prefer. I am quite pleased with it and think it is well designed, easy to assemble, and a bargain at $30 for this many features.

I've been pleased with every NEEWER product I've got. I have a bunch of their stuff for my DJI action camera and they are all good quality and work, so I knew this lamp was going to be great. It's a simple timeless design for usability, with some modern upgrades. It uses LED lights which can be dimmed and you can also change the color temperature. The magnifying glass is clear and does give you a better way to look at small items or finicky work. We got this for my wife to be able to pick vinyl stickers she makes with her vinyl cutter. Mounts securely and you can move the light/magnifying glass where you need to, and can lock it into place. It is USB powered so you can plug it into the wall with the included adapter or use a battery bank if you don't have a plug nearby. Overall great device for a good price.

My eyes aren't what they used to be, so this light-up magnifying glass is perfect for doing art projects like diamond dots or for fixing jewelry. What I love: The clamp-on can be used on almost any table, is portable to move around and the swing-arm plus adjustable glass work perfectly depending on the angle you need. As well, I love the dimmable and color-changing light modes - sometimes a warm glow is better than a bright-white light and vice-versus. And for the price-point, I can overlook the slight flaws in the clamp and the adjustment knobs - it works great for me despite with slightly flimsy parts. bottom-line: For the price, this is a great light-up, magnifying glass with multiple uses around your home however it is "entry-level" for a home user and the construction reflects that fact.
