Perfect for crafts

This is a review of a £6 pack of ten zipped plastic semi-transparent wallets, two each in five different colours. I ordered these for educational purposes, to be used by students. They are made of a strong mesh fabric that will take constant handling and wear. However, it is thin enough to crease if squashed down for a length of time. The zips operated smoothly and without catching, and they have a loop to hang them from if required. In general, the colour of the zips matched the tint of the wallet fabric, but with one odd exception. The white-tinted wallets have a blue zip, and it is therefore not immediately easy to distinguish them from the blue ones - see photo. While this is shown on the listing photograph, I had (I think understandably) missed it and expected five different colourways. I have docked one star for this, but if you are not particularly bothered about the colours then treat it as a five star review.

These are excellent document wallets. The plastic is properly robust (not the flimsy, split-if-you-look-at-it stuff) and the zips are smooth and feel built to last. You get five different colours, which is surprisingly useful when you’re trying to keep things organised rather than playing “guess what’s in this one”. They’re A4 size but you can fit a lot more in than you’d expect — papers, booklets, notes, and assorted bits all disappear neatly inside. I can see these being handy at home, at school, or in the office. My slightly niche use is for sailing paperwork — passage plans, charts, and notes that really must stay dry. Happy to report they’re genuinely waterproof, which gives them instant bonus points in my book. Given the quality, the price is very reasonable. Simple, well-made, and quietly does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommended.
