As a photographer/videographer who travels a lot, I’m always looking for gear that adds functionality without weighing me down — and the Nitze Z50II Bottom Plate hits that sweet spot perfectly. For the price, you really can’t beat this “half cage” style plate. The battery compartment stays fully accessible, so you don’t have to remove the plate every time you need to swap power — a huge convenience on shoots. I also love that there’s a built‑in Arca mount, which makes transitioning to tripod work quick and painless. No extra adapters needed, which is great when you’re juggling lenses and time‑sensitive shots. The only minor gripe I have is the placement of the 1/4‑20 holes on the bottom. My QD plates don’t align well with either location without sticking out a bit from the bottom of the camera, which isn’t ideal. It’s not a deal‑breaker, but it’s worth noting if you use quick‑release systems heavily. Overall, this bottom plate is a solid, thoughtfully designed, and affordable addition to the Z50 II — especially if you’re into lightweight travel setups. I’d definitely buy it again!

Die Nitze Z50 II Grundplatte hat sich bei mir schnell als praktisches Upgrade etabliert. Die Material- und Verarbeitungsqualität wirkt hochwertig; das Aluminium fühlt sich stabil an und sitzt sauber ohne Spiel an der Kamerabodenplatte. Nützlich ist natürlich die integrierte Arca-Schnellwechselplatte, die das schnelle An- und Absetzen auf Stativ oder Gimbal enorm erleichtert – gerade bei spontanen Sets spart das Zeit und Nerven. Die zusätzlichen 1/4"-Gewindebohrungen und die Riemenöse erweitern die Flexibilität, etwa für Griffe, Monitore oder Mikrofone, ohne dass zusätzliche Adapter nötig wären. In der Praxis sitzt alles fest und gibt auch bei wiederholtem Einsatz keinen Anlass zur Sorge, was auf eine gute Langlebigkeit schließen lässt. Vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis her finde ich die Platte super für das, was sie bietet: mehr Komfort, mehr Zubehörmöglichkeiten und ein spürbar sichereres Handling.

cette plaque de base Nitze pour Nikon Z50 vous permettra de fixer votre appareil facilement sur un trépied muni d'un support de fixation rapide à la norme Arca Swiss. la plaque est en aluminium recouvert de mousse eva (ou équivalent) pour la zone en contact avec l'appareil ! l'espace battterie/carte mémoire rest accessible quand l'appareil est fixé à la plaque. je ne mets que 4 étoiles car même si la plaque est bien finie et totalement fonctionnelle j'attendais plus une cage complète de l part de Nitze que cette simple plaque, aussi bien fichue soit-elle. Je recommande cependant car c'est toujours mieux que rien !
