These ankle straps are working well using the Tonal cable machine. They are comfortable and secure. I think they may be priced at the same price point as the Tonal branded ones, but right now those are out of stock with an unknown re-stock date.

Overall pretty good quality. My biggest issue is that with certain exercises the hooks don’t slide well so the straps pull on the ankles/ calves a little too much

I've been using these ankle straps with the functional trainer attached to my power rack. They have padding on the inside that makes them comfortable to wear. Great for doing leg extension and leg curls. They seem robust enough to last a while. I've used ankle straps for arm exercises in the past, since you can hook them around your wrists or just grip them like a ring. Due to the padding in these, though, they are not great for that purpose. If you just want a nice pear of ankle straps for leg exercises, though, these should be fine.

These ankle straps are very cushy and comfy! The ankle strap and barre loop workouts are relatively new on Tonal, so I haven’t had an opportunity to actually try them in practice yet because I’m mid-program where ankle straps aren’t being used. The Tonal Pricing Shock I was shocked at how much Tonal is charging for these accessories! This is a great alternative option. I noticed people in the Tonal subreddit suggesting purchasing t-locks and accessories separately on Amazon, and I was pleased to find a set of 4 t-locks so I could purchase pretty much any ankle straps or barre loops I wanted and still save over the Tonal brand version. Quality Assessment (Pre-Use) While I haven’t tried these in practice yet, I lift pretty light so I think they’ll be fine for me. I did also buy a wider version to compare comfort. Both have the same thick neoprene cushioning around the ankle, and I like how low-profile these are. How They Work You strap around your ankle, lock into the t-lock, and can unclip from the t-lock but leave the ankle strap on during your whole workout - which I’m sure is intended. The way the Velcro goes on, you probably won’t want to completely undo the ankle strap after each rep. Value Consideration The price is fine, but keep in mind you could also shop around for t-locks and ankle straps separately if you have specific preferences or want to mix and match.
