Great way to update antique lamp without needing adapter. Safer for old lamp than hot bulb.

It works great, it has along stem like the old incandescent bulbs had. A perfect fit and function.

Brightens house up โ may need socket adapter
This bulb is as bright as you would expect. It really brightened things up during the shortest days of the year. The description should include a suggestion that many people will need a socket adapter for the large base that this bulb has.

Only one level works and it's very dim
Supposed to be a three way bulb. Only one way works, and it appears to be the lowest setting of the bulb. 2 pack, second one is the same way. Will be returning .

I can hear a fan running inside the bulb when turned on Medium or High.

The bulbs are okay, nothing fantastic. I expected them to be a little brighter than they are. The bulb also makes a strange sizzling sound.
