I got the DoubleWood Turtle Brush with Suction Cup for Tank for my daughter as she has a 55-gallon tank with two turtles in it. She made them a basking area which they love and one of the only things they needed for the tank is these brushed that they can use to keep their shells clean. The brushes are much bigger than I thought they would be but that is a good thing as it is a large tank and one of the turtles is decent sized so these brushes should be a great size. The brushes are well made and have three suction cups per brush so they should stick really well to the tank. Once my daughter has used them for a bit, I will have her update my review but so far, they look to be well made and should do exactly what they are supposed to do! I can recommend.

These bigger brushes are great for my larger, heavier turtles. I was happy it came with two brushes for this price. It was a great value. I put one in each of my two bigger tanks for my heavier turtles. Turtles can swim over and under these brushes helping to keep them clean as well as assisting in removing old scoots from their shells. The brushes are sturdy and stuck well at first. The only issue I experienced was when the suction cup base came loose it was hard to get it to stay fixed to the side again.

Suction cups don't hold as well as I'd hoped. The brush if the right firmness. I just have to reattach it to the tank more than I'd like.

I set both of them in my 75-gallon tanks. At first, they worked great—my turtles actually used them to scratch their backs, and I was happy with the purchase. But after about a month, the suction cups stopped sticking. Now they just float around and won’t stay in place. Of course, this happened right after the return window closed. Don’t buy!

I ordered this 2 pack for a tortoise and a baby pig. I screwed them into a post in their outdoor enclosures. The suction cups can be removed and replaced with washers and screws or you can just sink a screw through the middle of the suction cups. My little baby piggy likes it the most. She was rubbing all over it as I was installing it. The bristles aren't too rigid. They're soft enough not to bother tender skin but firm enough To provide relief from itching. My tortoises adore playing in the mud I'm hoping this will maybe help with cleaning it off of their shells. They're very curious and had to rush right over to try it.
