The 72 is a 55l backpack so its absoultely huge as far as picking your size i would watch some videos of all three rush sizes and look at tons of pictures but if u already know the size u want is closer to this 55l monster then dont think twice BUY IT this is the highest quality backpack ive ever owned or used or even seen for that matter i purchased mine as an all around bag i use it as a fishing tackle bag almost every monday i use it as a ruck sack/ bug out bag when its not storing fishing tackle i use it as a backpacking pack and i use it on regular run of the mill camping trips as well, this thing is a tank but like a tank it is heavy coming in at around 5lbs heavy, that being said i am a rather large man and the extra weight is a fair trade off for the overall durability and versatility of this bag if you buy it you will say "I just spent way to much money on a backpack" what you will not EVER say is "i regret buying this backpack" worth every penny im going to buy a second one for my wife to use as a backpacking/camping pack as well. As someone who loves high quaility things suck as carhartt clothing, yeti products, thorogood boots etc 5.11 has gained a brand loyal customer.
