This was a very easy device to use to program your tpms , I was able to program the sensor within 5 min, worth the money

I do all my own basic maintenance at home, including rotating and swapping my tires, and this TPMS relearn tool has been a total game changer. If you’re someone who switches between summer and winter tires or rotates your own set, this tool is absolutely worth having. After a tire rotation or sensor change, the TPMS light can be annoying—and more importantly, inaccurate. Properly calibrating your tire pressure sensors matters for safety, tire wear, fuel efficiency, and peace of mind. This tool makes that process simple and fast, without having to drive to a shop or pay a service fee every time. Using it was straightforward. Once I put my vehicle into TPMS learning mode, I just held the tool next to the valve stem, pressed the button, and waited for the horn beep. That’s it. The solid green light staying on during the process is normal, and once you know that, it’s easy to trust the tool is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. I have a 2007 Impala and been having a tire monitor error. I get a message of “service tire monitor system”. When looking at my air pressure through the dash, some are showing lines. Since my tires have been rotated many times and never had the tire locations reset I thought it best to pick up one of these tools for diagnostic and repair purposes. I ordered the non battery version. So after installing a battery I went to test it out. I put the vehicle in learn mode and proceeded to test each tire pressure sensor. I found that the tool did I fact read the sensors that were functioning without issue. With the tool I was able to diagnose which sensors are bad so I can replace them and reprogram the system correctly. One thing I found odd is that one of the buttons doesn’t do anything. Pressing the other button starts the learn process. So I don’t know if that’s a hardware issue or what but the tool still functions. It’s as easy as point and press the button. It does seem a little slower than other tools I’ve used. For the price though, I can’t complain. It’s a great deal. The battery should last quite some time if careful to put away so the button won’t get pushed, otherwise just remove the battery for storage. With all that said, tire pressure is very important for safety and tire wear.

I have a 2011 GMC Yukon Denali XL that has had one sensor not registering for a while now. Before I replace it I wanted to see if this tool might fix the issue. I picked up the relearn tool with the battery, but for a dollar less, you can get one without a battery. If you get the one with the battery, you need to make sure you open the battery compartment and take out the piece of plastic between the terminals of the battery; otherwise, the tool will not work. The tool itself feels like it is good quality and should last. It is a good size, easy to handle, and easy to operate. It uses a standard 9v battery that should last you a very long time. On my Yukon, you have to turn on the vehicle without starting it, then hold down both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time until the horn beeps twice. You then go clockwise to each tire valve stem, starting with the left front, and put the tool on the rubber of the tire right next to the valve stem. The tool should easily connect if you put it in the right place on the tire rubber and not the stem. The horn will beep once you have pressed and held the button, telling you that the sensor is now active. On mine, the back right would never activate, which means the sensor needs to be replaced. Here is the thing. If one of your sensors is bad and you go through the entire process, then there is a chance, depending on your car model, that now none of the sensors will be working at all until you get that sensor replaced. Also, as in my case, there is a chance that a sensor is showing bad before you start will not show good, but a different one is now showing bad. This is because, at some point in the past, someone rotated the tires around and did not reset the sensors. This is why you go around the vehicle clockwise and start with the front left tire. You are telling the vehicle what sensor is in what tire. The vehicle does not know when you move tires around, so if you move the front tires to the back and do not reset the sensors, the system still thinks the sensors are in their old position. For me, this thing worked great. The hardest part was finding the correct procedure for my specific model and year. For less than ten dollars, this thing is a bargain, so there is no reason not to get one and keep it in your toolbox.
