Moroccanoil Signature Collection Perfume Set

I’ve been using Moroccanoil products for about 10 years now, so when they finally released perfumes I was really excited to try them. I ordered the deluxe sample set first before committing to a full bottle, and overall I’m very happy I did. The scents themselves are excellent. L’Originale smells exactly like the classic Moroccanoil hair products that so many of us already love. If you’re a longtime fan of the brand, this one will feel very familiar. The newer scent, Lumière du Jour, is a little harder to describe. To me it smells more like a luxury spa soap — clean, smooth, and slightly beachy. I personally don’t pick up a strong floral note, which I actually appreciate since I’m not a big floral fragrance person. I tend to prefer clean, spa-like, or beachy scents, and both of these fit nicely into that category. The longevity is decent for a lighter fragrance. I applied one scent to each wrist, and about five hours later I could still smell them when I brought my wrist up to my nose. It wasn’t projecting strongly enough for someone standing next to me to notice, but the scent definitely lingered on the skin. One thing I do want to mention so people aren’t confused when ordering: the product listing says 8 mL, but that is the total for both bottles combined. Each bottle is actually 4 mL. The bottles are also dab bottles, not spray bottles, so you’ll want to open them carefully. Yes, Moroccanoil products can feel a little pricey, but in my opinion you’re paying for the quality. I’ve used their shampoo, conditioner, repair oil, body oil, lotions, and soaps for years and they’ve consistently been some of the best products I’ve tried. One of the other reasons I continue to support the brand is that Moroccanoil is cruelty-free, which is very important to me. I’m not someone who can easily drop $100 on a bottle of perfume, but after trying these samples I do think the full size would be worth it. I’ll probably budget for it over the next couple of months. When I do buy one, I’ll definitely purchase L’Originale first, and eventually add Lumière du Jour later. Overall, if you love the signature Moroccanoil scent and want something clean, spa-like, and wearable, this is a great way to try the fragrances before investing in a full bottle.

Lumière du jour sent vraiment très bon! Les flacons sont très petits (échantillons) c’est parfait pour l’essayer!

It was blind buy, the packaging is so cute the mini bottles are cute also, will be so nice as a gift. But the scent are not for me, lumiere du jour is not bad but I wont go for a full size, the originale one is a no no for me. That's saddened me I wanted to love it.
