At first there's this feeling that my neck is being kind of compressed or something and I have to wriggle and move and reposition to find just the right spot. But, that said, it's pretty soft but also firm at the same time. It came with an extra sham style cover I wasn't expecting so bonus. And I had no neck pain upon waking up this morning. So that's good?? I guess. I think it is probably most comfortable for back sleepers, tho.
