more like a rubiks cube, thats why its called a fidget snake cube
This review is for Medium Snake Cube 6 pcs Party Favors,Fidget Snake Cube for Kids Teens Adults,Stress Relief Fidget Toy,Gift for Birthday,Christmas,Valentine's Day I ordered these because I'm always on the lookout to add more things to fidget with. I thought these would be a fun addition to our fidget box. The colors are really nice, they're very bright which makes it nice to look at. The orange is almost like highlighter orange, same for the green. I thought these would click and be bendy almost but I guess this is meant to be more like a rubiks cube in snake form. So this thing twists and then clicks into place but cannot just freely bend like a slinky. It can only be twisted left and right essentially. It comes with a piece of paper that shows you a few different things you can make with it but it's unclear how you would do it. I think you'd have to order a book for how to do it or look up videos online for a tutorial. The paper it came with showed some kind of connector accessories you could use but it doesn't say where to buy it and this set didn't come with it. The paper really just added confusion for me instead of being helpful, it would be better if there was a website or something they could direct you to instead of just throwing random info without more info to help you understand better. The items themselves were difficult to get out of the packaging because they were so tightly fitted into the box, I ended up just ripping the box so I wouldn't have to struggle trying to pull them out. The items are super light, very light weight to the point it almost makes you wonder if they're cheaply made and at risk of breaking but I think you just have to remember how to use them. Which is only twisting it by turning them left and right, if you tried to just bend these you'd probably break them but that'd only be because that's not how they're designed to work. Overall I'm satisfied with the products themselves, I just wish the instructions it came with actually helped instead of adding confusion. Still giving 5/5 because I didn't buy these with the expectation that they'd come with an instruction booklet. I only bought them expecting to get a set of 6, which I did. I think I got what I paid for and I'm happy with it so far. Will update my review if anything changes.

Colorful, creative, fidget.
These fidgets are pretty interesting- they are 36 links long. If you have a younger child they can have fun just twisting the shapes around. (A younger, frustrated child could probably break this trying to force it to bend in ways it isn't made to do.) As far as making creations, I think these fidgets are better suited for older kids because the spatial mechanics do get a little twisty-turvy. I was making a few into the "bow" shape, and sections can overlap to where you can't bend a shape into place until you unbend a different segment. The included pamphlet isn't helpful. It shows 30 designs (super small), but with 1 provided fidget you can only attempt 6 of them. It looks like you either have to buy fidgets with more than 36 links, or find pieces to connect smaller fidgets together. There is a little "diagram" on connecting fidgets, but it does NOT include this "set of accessories", and the directions are not clear. I didn't take stars off for this though, because it doesn't claim to include anything to make these fidgets connectable. I wish it had a better guide for a few simple creations to help kids get an idea of what shapes it can make. For the price though, these would make good stocking stuffers or gifts in party bags.
