This is a great, inexpensive basketball strategy clipboard. It’s made from a somewhat flexible plastic – not as stiff as those old-school brown clipboards we’ve all used, but plenty stiff enough to do the job. Not surprisingly, you can also clip paper to the clipboard and the clip holds well. There is also a retractable hanging hook built into the clip. The clipboard has clear markings for a basketball court: full court on the clip side and half court on the back. A fine-point dry erase marker is included, along with a plastic clip to store the marker on the edge of the clipboard. That plastic clip is kind of hard to attach. I pried the clip open with a screwdriver blade to make it easier to slip onto the edge of the clipboard. The marker is pretty basic, but the fine tip is just right for drawing out plays. I found that it marked clearly and erased easily with no residue left behind by using a microfiber cloth. This probably isn’t up to the grade that professional coach would use. But I think it’s great considering the low cost. It could could even be a fun toy for a basketball enthusiast child to draw up plays for the gang.

Excellent basketball coaching board. The included dry-erase marker clips on securely, writes smoothly, and erases cleanly. The court graphics are clear and well laid out, making it incredibly easy to diagram plays, set lineups, and walk players through positioning during timeouts or practice. As a youth basketball coach and someone that plays basketball in an adult rec league these dry erase boards are always a good thing to have on hand. Pretty much the same as all the ones I've purchased in the past, does the job, dry erase comes off with ease, normal stuff you'd expect from one of these. Nothing special but don't need it to be and it's priced well so solid value. The only reason I docked a star is that the marker doesn't come with a eraser on the top of the cap or separately, which most of the time I've gotten these they've included the soft eraser as the pen cap. The other negative is that the holder for the marker comes off relatively easy since there isn't any way to clip it on and set it, it just slides on and as the plastic slides on and off the piece that's supposed to grip the board slowly loses its grip, even over the course of a week. But if you need an affordable basketball coaching board this one will work just fine.

This double sided dry erase board is nice! It's perfectly suited for basketball coaches who want to visualize the plays for their teams! But seeing as it is a clipboard it's versatile enough to use in any situation where you need a writing surface on the go. The dry erase board itself is a very hard plastic that has some degree of flexibility, making it quite durable. It would take intentional effort to break this. Even the hinge itself feels pretty heavy duty compared to your average clipboard. The included marker and clip holder for it are also very easy to use/attach and make it even more convenient for transport and the marker writes and erases without issue. Good value for money!

Every coach needs one of these! They are durable and erase easily! I love how it is double sided so that different markings can be done on different parts of the court. I can’t wait to use this next season! This will be used not only for plays, but also for tracking stats during the game! So very versatile and worth it for the price!
