They are fine. I planted small rose bushes in them. Like that they came with a bottom tray.

These arrived well packaged with no damage. The planters themselves are very sturdy, with suits in each corner that for me, makes it very easy to see how much water is in the trays. I did almost over water once because the top soil was dry and I forgot to check the tray but that's operator error! Drainage is spot on for the plants needs. The planter and tray fit well together. To me, these are beautiful and sturdy enough they will last me years. The picture shows young chives. I planted them from seed and covered with plastic until sprouted. They offer great value for the price.

The drainage holes and side slits are slightly larger than on some other pots, but I consider that a benefit. The design encourages excellent drainage and healthier root systems. To prevent smaller soil particles from washing out during planting, I recommend pre-moistening your substrate in a bucket (or in its bag) until it’s damp enough to form a ball without dripping water when squeezed. Then fill the pot—this works very well with these larger openings. My only minor issue is that the actual dimensions run slightly smaller than advertised, though not enough to significantly impact usability. Overall, these are well-designed, sturdy pots at a very reasonable price, and I’ll definitely be purchasing more.

We need to "rotate" all our current potted plants to larger containers and this assortment of sizes is fantastic for our needs. These are good pot liners or transfer pots for sizing up or dividing, etc. Looking forward to gardening season now!
