PDT- 1001 Professional Pet De Shedding comb Tool Blue

I’ve been using the Gonicc PDT-1001 deshedding tool on my pet, and it works really well at removing loose hair without pulling or hurting. The blue comb is sturdy and feels professional-quality, and the handle has a comfortable, non-slip grip that makes grooming easier. The only other brush I’ve used on my cat (for years!) was a furminator. When my furminator went missing a couple months ago I was so upset! It’s light, functional, easy to hold and to use. The wide design allows coverage across my cats back and more coverage means less brush strokes aka less of a fight with my cat. While it doesn’t get just as deep into the undercoat as a furminator does, this brush is still a great dupe. I was able to brush out a whole birds nest worth of shed. My fluffy cat felt so soft and her coat looked beautiful when I was done. The brush is sturdy and should last many years to come. Recommended for long hair animals!

This brush does wonders for my black lab and his double coat. It gets down into his coat and pulls out a ton of hair with just one brush of his fur. Would absolutely recommend to others.

Bought this for my cat who sheds a lot of hair and her regular comb didn't really get any of the shedding out. Used it for the first time today and it does a good job getting the loose hairs off of her body. I try not to comb her so hard because this can be a little sharp and I don't want her to get uncomfortable so I'd say go lightly when combing your animals. If I had to pick something I don't like it's how sharp it seems to be but so far so good so hopefully I continue to have no issues with this comb and it continues to get all the loose hairs off of her. I also like that the company has a money back guarantee for the life of the comb!

I am carefully watching every dollar I spend, but I also have three dogs and a cat, lol. I decided to try this instead of paying the price for the Furminator. This model is AWESOME! It's just perfect for my 25 pound GSD puppy, fits great in my hand, and went together with a snap. I couldn't believe how much hair came off, easily. My pup loves it. Save your money and get this!

Peggy Sue loves it. Its gentle and also do the work, its a very good material. And remove not only hair also knots, if it help Peggy is a mix breed between a Beagle Harrier and Cimarron Uruguayo.

My dogs see me reach for this and they both come and sit right in front of me. i noticed my clothes having less hair on them. the removable comb, i like that feature. the weight on it is the guide for how much pressure to apply. it easy to use. easy to put together. worth the money. it doesnt feel cheaply made. perfect size! i kept the plastic cover over the comb when i dont use it so when i go digging in my grooming bin its safe to do so.

As much as I was hoping to love this product as a household with multiple heavy shedders, it fell short. It does get the loose hair so for that I’ll give 3 stars, but with the design of the teeth in the comb (deep grooves), it quickly fills up with hair within one or two short passes. Then you have to stop and pull the hair out of the comb (no release button), which is a pain and time consuming. Especially with multiple pets all getting their turn. I bought this as a cheaper alternative to another tool that has shorter grooves in the comb and worked beautifully to bring undercoat to the surface but didn’t “hold” the hair in the comb and you could quickly swipe the hair off of your pet without stopping the combing action. I will go back to the other option and keep this as a backup if needed.

Works well, good size, packaging was a bit off but, product works as it should. I have a Siberian and two moggy’s and it’s a good size for all of them.

Murphy, my 9 month old kitten absolutely loves this and will now jump up to be brushed each morning. I was a little concerned at first because SO MUCH hair was coming off but now it's settled down to a less panic inducing amount and it seems like it was really just helping him shed the winter fluff. House and clothes are far less covered than before we were using it. His litter brother Arlo is far less impressed and will only sit still for a few passes before he wanders off. Its worth noting Arlo has far less fluff to his coat and more guard hairs than is brother. Neither cat show signs of discomfort, the brush holds onto the hair well with a few loose hairs being left behind and needing brushing up. Definitely recommend but due to the type of brush would not recommend letting kiddos groom animals with this as I think they might be too rough.

Dopo aver provato diversi tipi di spazzole per il mio gatto iperattivo (e piuttosto esigente), posso dire con una certa sicurezza che questa è la più valida che abbia mai usato. Non solo rimuove una quantità impressionante di pelo in poco tempo, ma riesce anche a farlo senza irritare la mia micia – che, per inciso, non è certo famosa per la pazienza. All’inizio ho dovuto prendere un po’ la mano, perché il trucco sta tutto nell’angolazione con cui la si usa. Nel mio caso, tenerla leggermente inclinata fa una grande differenza: con questa tecnica, in pochi minuti riesco a raccogliere veri e propri ciuffi di pelo senza tirare o infastidire la gatta. Direi che funziona perfettamente sia per la toelettatura settimanale che per un passaggio veloce ogni tanto. Il manico ergonomico è un altro punto a favore: la presa è comoda, antiscivolo e pensata per non affaticare la mano, cosa che apprezzo molto soprattutto quando la mia gatta decide che è il momento di trasformare la toelettatura in un inseguimento in salotto. Dal punto di vista dell’efficacia, confermo quanto promesso nella descrizione: riduce davvero lo spargimento di pelo in modo drastico. Dopo una breve sessione, ho notato meno peli sui cuscini, sul divano e persino sui miei vestiti. Inoltre, il mantello appare più ordinato e lucido, come se avesse appena fatto una seduta di bellezza. Un altro aspetto positivo è che la spazzola è facile da pulire: i peli si staccano facilmente dalle setole, quindi non si perde tempo a cercare di liberarla manualmente. In sintesi, consiglio vivamente questa spazzola a chi ha animali a pelo medio o lungo e vuole tenere sotto controllo la perdita di pelo in casa. Con un po’ di pratica (e pazienza, soprattutto se il vostro gatto è un piccolo tornado come il mio), i risultati si vedono eccome. Per me è diventato un accessorio indispensabile.
