Perfect fit!
This doesn't transform my R1200GS into a UltraGlide or a Goldwing, but I'm told that it's better than leaning on those hinges, and much better than nothing to lean on at all! The foam is dense. It's not like a couch, but it is firm enough to stand up to sun, wind, and weather. Make sure to clean up the areas where the tape will touch with alcohol for good long-term adhesion. I've read reviews of Givi Outback backrest pads that claim that trimming was required to fit. Mine fit perfectly. My guess is people have confused similar topbox models when ordering pads. There are two versions of the OBKN42, and they differ very slightly in the tie-downs. The molding of the pads for each is significantly different, as the pad has to slightly overlap the tie-downs. Reference the Givi website before you order to ensure you get correct model number for your top box!

This fit perfect on my Givi OBKN42BA. Kind of pricey but the passenger approved of this even though the “cushion” is a little on the stiff side. Does as intended, protecting the passenger’s back from the hinges on the box.

My helmet FITS!!!
That’s IT! I really wanted a place to store my helmet when I walk away from the bike! Yeah, more luggage but I don’t do long rides much… and - while the Tail Box fits onto the bike quick - I had to have the Dealer install the adapter to my R1200GS and MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT ADAPER KIT!!!

Perfetto per il mio Givi Outback da 58L. Si fissa con gli adesivi in dotazione ed è estremamente resistente. Dopo 2 anni che l'ho messo ha retto a sole e pioggia oltre innumerevoli KM. Consigliato.

Pour en avoir déjà eu un identique, la fixation est sans reproche dans le temps et la mousse est ferme mais très confortable
