We cannot confirm that it would work. **Q: can I use this cable as an extention for 3/8 cable ?** A: This cannot work as an extension for 3/8" cable. Thanks. **Q: Anyone use these on their k50? Hows the quality of the cables compared to ridgid?** A: Works with the k-50 but are not as good as the original Ridgid cables. I have had a couple break the ends off but I put alot of pressure on them. If your using professionally id say go with the Ridgid. **Q: Is there a inner cable inside?** A: These cables in question are the same as the c-8 cables of Ridgid. They take the same heads and all and it works with the K-50 and K-60. I've cleared several hundred drains both commercial and residential. I started with their small machine and eventually graduated to a Ridgid K90SP. I did manage to snap one cable after it became kinked, thank goodness it wasn't in the drain at the time. So yes they can and will get bent and break, so caveat emptor with any sectional cables.
