I purchased these beads for a flapper costume I had for halloween one year and I absolutely adored them. They were perfect to add a little extra spunk to my costume. They are plastic so it was convenient to carry around, and they lasted the entire night. Although they are plastic, they are very durable and definitely worth the price. I would totally re-purchase accessories from this brand for a future event.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers got, but the beads I got were perfectly fine. It is a long necklace that has plenty of length to tie a knot in the end as the picture shows. It is going to look great with my flapper costume. They are cheap plastic beads, made for a Halloween costume, not real pearls. In case you thought you were getting a string of real pearls, or even real simulated pearls for $8.00.

I was quite hesitant to buy these flapper beads because many other reviews stated they don't come as indicated, and that they arrive in fact much shorter, not providing the wanted "flapper" look (so that you can't tie the beads). Mine arrived just fine, long enough to tie a knot. I've attached a picture to this review so that it may be helpful to others. These beads are definitely cheap looking (I wouldn't wear them for anything but Halloween, and they look delicate) but for this purpose and the cost, it's great.

I know the necklace is cheap but it does not necessarily need to LOOK cheap as well. After this was delivered I ran to Target and got a more real looking necklace AND earrings for a couple more dollars. This is obviously meant for a costume but I wouldn't wear it under any circumstance. Product is light in weight, looks cheap and the white tone is awful. Returning it costs more than the price paid initially so I will be given them to my niece to wear at her tea party with dolls.

the product i received looked exactly like the image, but i had to send it back because i didnt need it anymore. but if youre looking for something flapper to wear, this necklace will definitely fit that standard. its pretty long, so you are probably able to loop it around your neck once or twice if you wanted to.

These beads are very cheap, but of course you cant beat the price. They work good for a costume but I wouldn't expect them to hold up for more than a few wearings.

Wasn't what I expected at all. I figured it would come exactly as it was pictured, but it was just really long beads. I had to tied them and make them fit right (not that it is a big deal to tie them, it was just unexpected). Not worth the price in my opinion.

This was purchased for a flapper costume and it really added to the outfit. The quality was good, but it is not an item you would wear everyday. It is a costume piece. It has a good length for most people.
