I've been using them for other ventilation applications, and I'm very satisfied with them so far. They aren't quiet, and if mounted at a weird angle (say 45 degrees pointing upwards), you may occasionally get grinding noises. Despite this, they've been running for months without serious issue, and I'll probably buy them again if they break or have other problems. They don't all seem to have the same airflow, but they're great for the price. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Not as pictured *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2009* I ordered this thinking that it would come with a power supply and switch as it appears in the picture. What arrived was a box with four fans, no power supply and no switches.When I contacted the seller, asking if this was a mistake, they sent back a form response telling me how to return the item. I wrote back, asking if they even have power supplies for these fans, and they did not respond.I will not order from this supplier again.[Edit] They seem to have updated the picture, which is now (11/13/09) accurate. A bit more detail: each fan has a combo male/female jack, so you can daisy chain multiple fans together. The jacks are flimsy, and the pins move around quite a bit. You need to manipulate the pins for a while before you can get them to fit. The fans themselves are not particularly quiet -- you will definitely hear them. I used these in the side of a custom ammo box Gaming case to allow more airflow to my pci-e cards using a homemade bracket mount and they each work just fine.
