Car Visor Sunshade Extender TFY Anti-Glare Sun Visor Extender Window Sunshade and UV Rays Blocker, 1 Piece (Black)

This visor extender works great, I use it on the passenger side for my 90-year-old mom who is shrinking. I put it on backwards, so when the visor is shut you can see it because otherwise it covered up the visor vanity mirror and was too bulky with the visor shut. As a bonus when I have the visor down I can pull the sideways part behind my rearview mirror to block the sun that gets in diagonally thru that tiny little space into my eyes. I didn’t need it to go the other way because my visors extend by themselves and my mom really needed it when we are driving into the sun, even with her black out OTG sunglasses the Florida sun in the late afternoon is blinding. I’m tall enough my regular visor works for me. It’s kind of thin and almost flimsy so if you abuse it I imagine it would break easily, but I am very careful when I pull the extension out not to yank on it or bend it. I’ve had it for a while now with no problems.

I got this for my 2018 BMW X5 (which has to have the worst visors known to humankind, small and no extensions, etc.). Anyway, this works. It is a little ungainly and not the most high-end piece of automative accessory created, but it works! I know have an extender going sideways and lowering down. It is durable enough that I expect it to last. It is unobtrusive and no one has even noticed it enough yet to say anything to me. So despite my comment about it not being the best automative accessory created, it is good enough and does its job and seems like it will last so I recommend it. My 4 stars out of 5 are only because it is a bit ungainly and lacking in refinement. But buy it if you need it!

This is just what I have been looking for. The type I bought before was such a hassel. It had an elastic to wrap around the visor. Whenever I wanted to block the sun on my left side I would pull the visor to the side. Then, I had to pull it down, elastic and all (to get the right coverage), and finally snapped my mirror off. This one is perfect. I have the sun all the way to work and back on my right side. After pulling the visor to the side, I can pull both pieces down and over so easily. Just a soft touch and each one goes back in. I wish I had bought this years ago. It would have eliminated a LOT of sun spots on my left cheek!

I have an early morning commute and my car's built-in visors are basically nonexistent ( google : BMW 228IX lol ) so this looked like an easy cheap fix. After using them everyday for over 2 months - the corners on all sides are chipping so I'm not sure how much longer the whole thing will last AND also when you put this thing on your car's visor it blocks the Driver Side Visor Mirror so if you need a mirror you are stuck using the Rear-View middle mirror or packing a hand help mirror. Aside from these 2 flaws, I do like that I can move it to block the sun in TWO instances : when its straight ahead by pulling the extension piece down AND when the sun is blinding me from the Left Side - I can easily flip it over to the left side of my Driver Side window. So aside from the flimsy fabric its made of and the lack of mirror - its for sure functional !

Was excited once they were put on. Looked great! HOWEVER, within a week, while driving down the highway, one flew off and proceeded to hit the vehicle behind me!! Thankfully no damage and they were cool with it. I contacted the company directly. Literally started off the email stating that the product was ordered via AMAZON, and told them what happened. Guy asks for order number. I send a screenshot of the order. He responds a few days later stating that they can not help me because it was purchased through Amazon. So he told me literally what I had already told him. Bottom line, the product is pure crap!!! I really wish that I’d have read the reviews before ordering. Which basically all stayed the same exact issues.

Feb 2, 2021 - Wow, I love this adjustable sun visor!! I own a Driver's Ed School and I have numerous petite little students that sit too low for the regular visor to assist them in blocking the sun from their eyes. This is wonderful!!! I wish I would have had this 4 years ago, and my bosses 14 years ago! See photos installed on a 2008 Honda CRV. The material is sturdy and strong, thin and lightweight on the visor, the slide part is plastic and sturdy, it is not on a slide track, so adjust it by lightly tapping up on one side to make it even. {not thick like the old visor CD holders}. Thank you to whoever created this design, the mfg. and the distributor!

When I bought this I thought it was for a larger windshield of a truck because our sun in the winter time sits low in the sky and it’s right in your vision when driving on certain roads so I needed some thing to stop that from happening...this worked OK but it wasn’t exactly what I hoped for. I will use it but I am still looking for a better bigger visor for a truck.

Easy to install, and it’s nice and long. I’m very tall, and the Texas sunset is constantly blinding me from the gap between the end of the visor and the door frame when I drive. This bad boy runs mad interference. I feel safer and am avoiding eye damage to boot. Not today, sun!

Sirvió para un matiz, el cual debido al tamaño pequeño que tiene, es proporcional al tamaño de su visera. Por lo que decidí comprar uno de estos, ya que donde vivo hay mucho sol y muchas veces no me alcanzaba a tapar de los rayos que el mismo sol produce (mido 1.50, así que ya se podrán imaginar jeje). Fue el remedio perfecto. Ahora puedo salir por las madrugadas sin la molestia del sol en mis ojos.

Très pratique et rapide à mettre en fonction d'une seule main, même en conduisant . Par contre n'est pas adaptable avec un rétroviseur. Pour camionnette sans vitre arrière.
