Complete Torque Converter for Predator 212 Go Kart Clutch Kit Set 3/4inch 10T #40/41 and 12T #35 Chain Replacement for 218353A Manco Comet TAV2

Works solid, easy install and looks clean. Must use an engine spacer to raise engine an inch or two for a good fit, spacer is cheap on Amazon. This takes the guess work out of aligning the belts as the drive pulley was on engine and the driven pulley was on the frame. so all you need to align is the chain. Customer service is excellent. Had this kit on going a 8-9 months now.

The plate is not rated for engines above 8hp so where the berring is housed. on the plate the load excedes the limits of the metal the plate is rated for and over time expands the pocket creating slop in the driven pilly witch leads to excessive wear on the belt causing you to replace belt sooner. Also drive cog may cause your chain to bind up and snap. If it wraps around rear hub or gets caught in your rear break it will lock up rear tire and cause you to wreak. I need to see if the 40 series plates bolt pattern will match up with my ghost that 30 series fits. But great while it working.

Been using on my son’s mini bike for almost a year. I set the throttle way down for him so his top speed is only about 10 mph. When he was learning, only about 3 mph. Torque is crazy! With him and I on it at 3 mph, (about 200 lbs total on the bike) we could still easily get up a step grade. If I’m to max out the throttle, it will top out at about 45 mph. I’m going to swap the chain and gear ratio sometime to get a higher top speed and reduce some torque. It’s a little too much torque. The thing comes out from underneath you if you’re not careful. Even with the throttle reduced to 10 mph. Older Baja doodle bug and harbor freight predator 6.5. I also upgraded the cab with bigger jet. The largest jet you can put in a stock carb. Took off stock muffler and put a center pipe on it so exhaust exits the center of the bike and lower the chances of burns. No issues and quality product!

This torque converter is probably the best money spent on my kids go cart so far. With the centrifugal clutch, the go cart would get stuck in the lawn and would need a push to get going while smoking the clutch. Putting the torque converter on fixed that problem completely and overall just drives better now. It fit perfectly and the quality seems great. I would highly recommend this product to anyone dealing with clutch issues.

Fit as intended speed clutch great

Hardware to hold on driver pulley is cheap and will strip threading. Also on back pulley, the plastic pieces fall out for whatever reason.

It's great except the belt it comes with Is junk and I had to get another belt off a diffrent project because the belt completely shredded on a mountain ride.

Felt great but the belt that came with it broke immediately after one time trying to go "wide open" messed up the cover and had to roll it back on foot

Well made, durable. We are 4 guys running the same product without problem, beaten for over 12 hours and still running great on the stock belt. Note: a few bolt might not fit, my crankshaft needed a m8x1 bolt instead of the standard one provided. No biggie, just make sure you purchase the right treat bolt for your crank and engine crankcase mount.

All the bolts fit perfect, I used it on my grandsons go cart that i built, The first that i used was a centrifugal clutch and that didnt work at all.
