The binder is a standard 3" and by the dimensions listed, the binder should fit with no problems. Well, it didn't. The real problem lies in the zippered opening. Because of how it is designed you cannot fit something that is actually 3" wide into the bag. The opening is too small and stiff to allow for that width to be put in. Also, the zipper was super poor quality and not working when my bag arrived. Even if it had, it seemed that it would have only lasted for a few openings before giving out.
