OBAGE DT-2425 70 Watt 2.0 Channel Wireless Bluetooth Tower Speaker (Black)

Excellent set of speakers, works well in medium sized room of 15 X 15 feet. Strictly for private listening. It's not a party speaker cause it has limited volume - more than sufficient for a mid sized room, but it's strength lies in delivering sharp accurate sound response with lots of bass, if needed. It has tight frequencies that can turn mediocre songs exceptional. I like the overall effect. You can tweak the bass and treble to your liking, so there is something for every one. You get frequencies that are missing in similar powered party speakers and there is no digital manipulation or artificial enhancement of frequencies - the sound is natural - augmented by the solid wooden casing. In a crowded room, however, the sound dynamics diminishes considerably. Ideally the speaker should be kept in a corner, with a minimum distance of 3 feet between the two towers. The listeners should be facing right in front of it for a maximum sound experience. The overall finish is par excellence and the sound controls are located conveniently. There is an aux-in option apart from FM, USB and blue tooth. Power cable is long enough, additionally an aux cable is also provided. I received two sets. The speaker packaging is great with separate & sturdy cartons for each speaker.I found the speakers not suitable for outdoors, there is a loss of power and the sound quality is compromised, but then, they were not designed for outdoors. Keep in mind the speakers are not water proof and are strictly for indoors. They require mains power supply and is not chargeable. Has to be plugged into a AC socket.A remote is also provided which requires 2 AAA batteries. I did not get them so I had to purchase them separately. Remote works well. You can change songs from USB pen drive or SD Card by manipulating the numerical keys. By pressing a particular number you get that song. Can be used for changing radio stations as well.Great product at an affordable price.

Obage DT-2425 is yet another surprise 'MakeInIndia' product (like 'Signature Acoustics'). The build quality, functionality and sound quality are surprisingly impressive for its price.Though purchased primarily for watching video content such as Movies & YouTube reviews on the 4K TV + Amazon FireTV Stick 4K combo, it's also pretty good for listening to audio (music, speech).Obage DT-2425 is certainly not for the typical bassy loud sound lovers. But it's certainly recommended for those who prefer sound clarity, with a reasonable amount of loudness. The dialogs in movies can be heard clearly, while the bgm can also be experienced without any distortion, even at the highest volume setting (which could be more). Similarly, in YouTube videos with voice and music, the track / stereo separation is clearly heard. In terms of bass, it has certainly got the thump but not the overwhelming boom of a separate sub woofer, which is acceptable for the fantastic price. The elegant yet rugged looking build quality gives confidence for a long shelf life. The remote is lightweight and functional. Addition of digital inputs (optical, HDMI) will be useful but are not present in this model.Kudos to Obage for making such high quality, yet affordable 'MakeInIndia' audio products and Amazon for bringing it to customers who may've never heard about the brand!

At first, I had my fingers crossed since it is a new make.Fell in love with the presentation and package. Was overwhelmed once I touched the body of the speaker. A very high quality build. Even the wires were neatly wrapped. Here are the pros and cons after 2 days of use..Pros:1. A very high, crystal clear quality audio output.2. Bass and Treble can be adjusted individually, yet the bass doesn't dominate too much. Completely balanced.3. FM and Bluetooth connectivity. Remote controller too.4. Minimalistic and neat design.Cons:1. Nothing much to say. Just one issue, the IR of the speaker matches my set top box's. Whenever I press 0 to change channels, the speaker turns off.On the whole,It is great value for money. Really happy with the product.I wish great success for this young company. Way to go Obage!

Good design ,sound is too good, at this money more expectation is not desirable. Packaging is without amazon steaker also during delivery i saw the box is opened.buyers must check before receiving...however I don't get anything wrong order...in short it can beat big companies in terms of sound ...so guyes go for it without any doubt

I’m writing this review after more than a year of using this product and the fact that i gave 5 star implies that I’m really satisfied with the speaker set.And remember, these are budget speaker set and the review is in reference to the budget range this falls in.Now to the point, pros:1. Excellent sound quality for the money paid2. Build quality is flawless3. The remote is apt and elegant with all the required functions4. Component quality and optimisation is one of the best I’ve seen (this includes the drivers and the amp)5. This speaker set punches way above its price range, no regrets buying these6. The most important one, Obage is an Indian start up and they are doing really great job in trying to bring the quality Active speaker range to the Indian mass marketCons:Really none at this price point!Overall Verdict:I got these as a gift for someone and I’m really happy i did! These have been serving flawlessly since more than a year now and of course have gotten better after the initial burnin period of close to 90 hrs.I world recommend these or any of the Obage/Omeewa products to anyone looking to buy speakers on budget. And believe me, you will be surprised! All the best to Obage team!

Hi,Reviewing after 2 days of usage.design is greatbass is good, but it dosent have the Bass Reflex. u can increase the bass by equalizer.the Tweeter will bleed ur ear, seriously i kept in 1-2 points, its still hitting the eardrums.Bluetooth connectivity is goodAs mentioned its not loud but bass pressure is good.there is nothing such as window shaking bass, don't expect too much, this is great speaker those who are upgrading from 2.1 system or below 60watt speaker system.u can enhance the experience by using Dolby digital adapter.anyways its worth for 5K and overall cant complain.Update : 14/9/2019Primary Woofer just stopped working...Pathetic product.. not worth.. called customer service twice.. no response no call back..Third class product.

bass is good but gets jarred at higher volumes if bass button is fully turned positive. that seems to be the only con factor with this system. the sound is clear, powerful and pleasing to ears. build quality is very good with jet black finish and wooden enclosure. better buy a 3.5 mm to 2male RCA audio connector cable separately from bluerigger or amazonbasics, replacing the company supplied audio cable, for best sound experience, which i am doing. a sound asset for your home for all sources of sound, computer, memory card, memory drive,television,cd/vcd/dvd players. all this features at very attractive price point. the start up indian audio manufacturer is getting production manufactured in china and then shipped back for distribution. they are trying to be indian fenda or edifier with a sound quality much better than them. i have quickly grown to be a fan of obage audio. ith space saving compact design and good looks it becomes part of your entertainment universe at home. highly recommended without any hesitation.

I was looking for a sound system under 6000 Rs. I went through the reviews of this tower speaker system and thought of going for it. Setting uo the system was very easy.It offers many connectivity optionsThere is separate control for bass treble and volume on board.I connected it to my smart tv using the aux cable that came alongThe first impression was OMG.chest hitting bass. Vocals are loud and clear as well.I have a very big room, still this tower speaker system does rhe job very well. You will love to use it every day.Bluetooth connectivity is also very good, there is no NFC or optical cable support though, but still it doesnt disappoint you.I was also suprised to see that FM plays very well on this system, even without connecting the antenna wire that comes along. You can also connect your electric or electro acoustic guitar to it.Mind you one thing , the size of the system is not as big as you might expect. But it works way better than those huge tower speaker systems. To sum up, I would only say, stop looking for other systems and just buy it, you will never regret.Cheers to the obage teamWay to goGod bless
