Stageek 6 Ft Flexible PVC Floor Cable Cover with Yellow Hazard Stripes and Large Channels, Black & Yellow

Needed something to protect power cord and a thick 8-channel balanced audio cable run. This protector is totally up to the task. And, thanks to a noteworthy yellow stripe, quite visible on the floor to avoid trip hazards. But it's also low profile enough to run under a carpet, albeit creates a lengthy "lump" under the carpet similar to a wooden door lintel. And, it comes with an overlap piece to link multiple lengths together, should you need a longer run. Being this sturdy, it is somewhat stiff on arrival, but "settles" flat within a reasonably short time once it's unrolled and cable is inserted. If you need a good cable protector, this one does the job!

You need to be patient with this. I like the fact that it finally lays flat after soaking it in hot water for about 10-15 minutes. You'll need to bend it back a bit after the soaking before it gets cold again. It also took a few days to for it to lay mostly flat prior to soaking it. It comes rolled up. After it was delivered I cut the zip tie, unrolled it and put it on my carpeted floor for a few days with some heavy boxes on it. After that the ends still needed soaking, which worked well. My installation holds two heavy duty shielded cat 6 Ethernet cables and a quad shielded coaxial cable for my TV antennae. Because I have it on plush carpeting it doesn't need any double backed tape or anything, it just lays flat and prevents my guests, and me, from tripping on the cables when I go out to the balcony. If I lived in a house, I currently live in an apartment, I would probably run the cables into the attic instead of this, but the place is not mine to do that to. It's nice that it has the yellow caution line on top which makes it easier to see in the dark, but it won't glow in the dark. It also came with a connector which I will save for future use.

I needed to run a very thick power cord and two network cables from the wall to my desk, so was looking for a cable housing that would not require using adhesives on my new carpet. This does the trick - it holds all three cables easily. I unrolled it when it arrived and put weights on it to lose the curl for 24 hours and that helped a lot - but the length I'm using (half that provided) is still not laying completely flat. It's definitely less of a tripping hazard now, between the bundling of the cables, the yellow stripe and the fact that it lies ALMOST completely flat. Still putting weights on it overnight to encourage it a little more.

I have used a similar product before, and while I wasn't thrilled with it, I lived with it. When it came time to need this type of product again, I did a bit more research, and came up with Stageek. What I disliked the most about the previous product was the fact it came coiled, and would not lie flat, no matter what I tried. The Stageek product arrived coiled, but upon taking it out of the package, I noticed it had heft to it. I uncoiled it, and almost instantly it laid nearly flat. I started my project, cut it to size, neatly tucked the wires inside, and laid it on the floor. No adhesive. It laid flat, and didn't move! Looks nice. Has the yellow strip for safety, and DOESN'T MOVE! I couldn't be happier.

This is a great buy for the price and sturdier material than some of the other ones. This is made of a hard, heavy plastic rubber material. It worked great to hide our cord and prevent w tripping accident. Came coiled up and wouldn't lay flat but stretching it overnight with something on each end made it flat by morning. I would like to see some 3m strips come with it, it easily slides on the floor and has no stick. I will take some 3m strips and apply them at the bottom to make it stick to the floor.

This floor protector looks well made and sturdy. It is shipped coiled in a circle, which I assume is easier and less expensive than shipping flat. As a result of the cord protector being coiled, it won't lie flat on the floor. It has a wave-like appearance when laid out. I left it in the sun for a few hours to relax it -- to no effect.

I bought this cable cover for a propane gas line between a small propane tank (think bbq tank size) and my outdoor propane fire pit. I didn't want my tank next to the fire (for obvious reasons) and I didn't want people tripping over the gas line (especially at night) so I sought out a cover for it. This cable cover worked well as it could accommodate the hose and it was really visible with the yellow stripe. No one has tripped over the cover since I covered it and the hose is protected. I'd recommend it.

I like to write reviews on items that work great because I look at the reviews before I buy. These are wonderful. I have a small watering system set up for my flowers. I have 3 sets of flowers near my garage door and didn’t like the appearance of the hose showing. These worked perfect, they don’t slip when backing my car in the garage and look great.

Product arrived on time. Well packaged. The cover is coiled but not tightly. It is held together with a strong zip tie that was removable to add to my collection without cutting. The cover does stand up slightly from being rolled but it does not curl back up and the paperwork included gives instruct on how to make it pliable in hot water if required. It feels sturdy and heavy enough for outdoor use as planned and the high visibility strip is clear and doesn’t appear to be easily worn off. Good product which will fit exactly what I planned to cover an outdoor extension cable on a patio walkway. Overall pleased and recommend. The lost star on ease of use is for having to straighten it out but packaging is far easier that way than in a long tube or box. ****update in 2022. Still excellent condition. Used outside and has flattened nicely after couple weeks. No issues and lasting well****
