My husband loves this hat and it’s our third or fourth purchase of it. This time the hat is different. The material is cheap, hard plastic where it used to be smooth and durable. The size is completely different (larger) and the inside is white and scratchy instead of black and finished.

I got this for my boyfriend and he loves it! He’s been wearing it since it came in the mail early this am lol it looks really good on him too. It’s nice and sturdy and keeps its shape on his head. It fits perfectly. I would definitely recommend! It seems like it’s nice sturdy material too so it doesn’t look like it’s cheap at all or going to fall apart either. If you’re considering buying it I woud definitely do it!

I have several of these hats and I like them, they look nice and are a good price for an everyday wear. However, something about this particular run of the charcoal gray hats are defective. I noticed when I was wearing it (I wear mine low) that my ear was getting irritated. Turns out the part of the mesh that meets your ear is very rough and scratchy. Looking at my other mesh hats including my other Grace Folly ones, the mesh wraps around the rim nicely so that it's soft where it meets your ear, these ones are left jagged and rough. I went to Amazon and was sent a replacement very promptly, however the replacement is the exact same way, so I'm going to send both back. I still want this hat, but evidently I need to wait until the stock of these defective units has been flushed out. I like it, but would never wear it, because of the ear irritation. It should be noted that I received the Palm Beach version of this hat as a gift recently and it was not like this, so it's not all of the hats. Need some extra QC on these.
