Marvel Black Panther Legends Series Black Panther, 6-inch

Good figure with nice articulation and sculpture.

After his epic turn in Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther gets his own movie in the MCU. Marvel Legends starts something new and cool starting with Black Panther. Black Panther is awesome, looking like he does when he appears in his first scene helping Nakia in Nigeria. Being the second MCU action figure after Civil War this looks pretty decent. I do not own the previous figure but from what I can tell the figure has a new unmasked face sculpt, giving him an angrier look. The body still looks the same and still pretty accurate. Standing above 6.25 inches tall and with the same articulation as other Marvel Legends figures, although it looks like the arms allow for wider movement given the character is agile. As well as an alternate set of hands for punches instead of clawing or grasping. As well as the BAF component, Okoye’s head.

When I got this figure I was especially excited for the unmasked head of Black Panther how I noticed that the likeness to actor Chadwick Boseman is very much off and only by skin it is way to melon color and black like it should be. Other than that the figure is amazing. From the poseabilty to the interchangeable heads and hands. If you have the previous Black Panther figure from the” Captain America Civil War Wave” that head fits on this figure. The poseablity is great I don’t feel like I am going to break it at all. In short if you wanted an updated Black Panther get this figure. If you want this figure for movie accuracy, you can probably pass.

My son loves that toy. Very flexible, can be changes into different positions easily. He can even put him in all kind of cars which is sometimes hard with toys which parts don't move well. It's also nice quality. Could be a little cheaper.

This is easily, to date, one of the best Marvel Legends figures of all Marvel Legends history. The articulation is fantastic, it comes with great accessories (sure, the T'challa head sculpt isn't 100% accurate to the likeness of Chadwick Boseman, but that does not prevent the figure from being amazing), and the packaging's artwork is incredible. I highly recommend getting this before it's gone (which is the mistake I made with the Giant Man Build-A-Figure wave Black Panther figure).

Bought it for my collection items if you like collecting items like myself since the media made him or somewhat mentioned him as an iconic figure. Can’t go wrong with this and I’d bought a few items of Chadwick Boseman hopefully it will be worth something later on. Figure is about 6” tall and Amazon packed it well and I love it.
